Today, a Defense Department official confirmed to Breitbart News that there is advance planning for a “substantial air package” against targets in Libya. Military sources suggest that this means that flight missions against Libyan targets will include manned flights, not merely drones.
The New York Times reported yesterday that the Obama administration is preparing an operation to “kill or capture militants” involved in the Benghazi attack resulting in the murder of our ambassador to Libya and three other Americans. According to the Times, the Joint Special Operations Command is putting together “so-called target packages of detailed information about the suspects.” These files are a coordinated project with the CIA and the Pentagon.
The Obama administration is under heavy scrutiny for its failure to protect the US consulate in Benghazi, and for its lack of security around the ambassador. Furthermore, the Obama administration is increasingly perceived as weak on terror, particularly in the aftermath of the Arab Spring, which has largely been hijacked by the well-organized Muslim Brotherhood. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is scheduled to testify next Wednesday before the House Oversight Committee on the lack of security for the ambassador.

I don’t think the 47% care whether we protect our embassies or not. I doubt they know or care where Libya is or what an ambassador is.
I think that Obama will be reluctant to anger his Muslim base.

Controversial Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan has condemned the killing of his “brother” Moammar Gadhafi and calls President Barack Obama an “assassin” for killing Osama bin Laden.
It’s too late because bravado and chest beating while uttering a Tarzan yell eliminates surprise and the enemies will all be gone somewhere else.
So, this is why they left the security off the embassy?

What needs to be done? Capture and torture for the intel. Then dispose of the guilty parties. Any bombing is just throwing taxpayer money at empty desert sand and likely innocent civilians - probably Christians anyway
Today’s Turkey/Syria cross-border attacks are what I have my eye on. The Pentagon already released a statement this afternoon saying the US will do whatever is necessary to back-up Turkey as it defends itself. Too bad the Administration doesn’t feel the same way about Israel.
Once again -- 47% don't pay federal income taxes. Many of those are retirees & half of them at least are conservatives who DO care. Some are millionaires who pay capital gains and dividends but use deductions to offset income taxes. Many of those are conservatives who DO care. I understand your point but it is not to be directed at 47%. It is some other number.
