Three Days. Only Three Percent.

In three days we have only raised three percent of what is needed to keep FR on the air and doing what we do best.

In a big way we helped to out and defeat both Gore and Kerry. This is not a fluke.

More than ever, FreeRepublic needs our support. Finacially.

Yep. FR needs your donations to stay afloat as we approach the most important presidential election in the history of the planet.

Without FR's voice and it's members that continue to report the truth on a daily basis...We will surely be defeated by the left and their socialist agenda.

I know. I get it. Times are tough and money is tight. But, without FR and others like us...the battle will have no voice.

If you have a spare buck or two, consider what is at stake and help to keep the truth to be told.

Thanks...

BTLD

Perhaps this thread could have waited at least 12 hours.
Having the site go down just when the first presidential debate began for practically the entire debate is not the most effective motivation to contribute.

The membership has repeatedly offered to contribute to a special fund to have a backup system for these unplanned outages. Backup? as in when something breaks or a DOS attack strikes?
Even something that allows threads to be posted, even if no replies are possible, would be a huge improvement.

Gnashing of teeth is no help whatsoever!

Don’t worry. About 1% per day was about what happened last quarter. My donation will be close to the end of the quarter because I’m basing it on my favorite “prompt” (makes me smile every time), but I will definitely be donating just like every other since I joined.
If Romney wins, there will be celebration. If 0bama wins, I’m positive that FR will play a pivotal role in what comes next. Either way, that equates to support for FR & one another.

The live debate thread was mostly useless as it was down much more than it was on. Extra money was collected for this and Jim said the rest would be borrowed to install new servers. Whatever is wrong needs to be fixed. Someone posted it will be worse on election day. If that is true, there's no point in coming here if it is crashing all the time as it was tonight. I'm a monthly donor like many others.

Made a donation in honor of Mitt’s Epic Ride last night in the first debate. Here’s hoping we have an all new government in a month’s time.
