Add CNN’s James Carville to the list of Democrats questioning President Barack Obama’s performance against Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Wednesday.
In CNN’s wrap-up of its debate coverage, Carville, a campaign adviser to former President Bill Clinton, gave Obama’s campaign high marks but added that Obama probably didn’t go by the playbook his campaign wanted him to.
“Let’s be real,” Carville said. “They have run a very good campaign thus far. I don’t think that President Obama did what this campaign wanted him to do. I think he was off his game tonight. But let’s don’t go overboard here. It will be like a big sort of pushback. … My point is this — President Obama came in, he wanted to have a conversation. It takes two people to have a conversation. Mitt Romney came in with a chainsaw. He’s trying to talk to a chainsaw.”

Romney did exceedingly well, far in excess of my expectations, while the incompetent Obozo looked like deer in headlights.

Apart from the rain of “uh uh”s most notable were the number of “and,and,and...” When o was struggling for an answer. Sounded like a three year old girl telling a story. Cute then, not cute in POTUS.

There is a reason communists can’t abide free speech. We saw Obama acting it out last night.
Communists talk at people and down to the people. They ramble with no challengers and strike a pose of thuggishness. They threaten people who stand up to them. Obama has had no challenger. McStupid was a joke. The media and the GOP has not effectively challenged him since he has been in office.
Last night was the first time his policies were thrown in his face bluntly by a man not afraid of him and his thug pals. He did not handle it well.
When we get to the foreign policy debate and talk about the glory of the muslim brotherhood’s arab spring...
Pres. Bush risked looking weak in order to be underestimated; it’s not a new tactic. Obama and the MSM wouldn’t mind Romney getting overconfident either.
Yes, I know he’s not as smart as he thinks he is. But he does know how to campaign—it’s about the only thing he can do well.
I hope I’m wrong, believe me! I would much prefer his incompetence shines for all to see and to vote against.
