An alarmed Chris Matthews was hysterical after President Obama turned in a poor debate performance. "I don't know what he was doing there." Chris Matthews exclaimed. "He had his head down. Chrissy, you know very well that Obama only comes off well as a public speaker when someone else composes all the words he is going to say and puts them in large type on a TelePrompTer.
He cannot wing it, he cannot speak extemporaneously, he cannot handle questions unless he knows precisely what is going to be asked beforehand.
