Al Gore has said some things which have been lampooned over the years, but his speculation on why Mitt Romney seemed to dominate the debate last night has garnered more critics than usual.
“I’m going to say something controversial here,” Gore said. “Obama arrived in Denver at 2 pm today, just a few hours before the debate started. Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet and you only have a few hours to adjust, I don’t know.”
Of course, people have been having a field day with it, and Twitter is all aflutter.

I’m from sea level, and a trip a couple of years ago to Colorado Springs (6000-7000 ft.) really kicked my a** physically for the first 24 hours. Surprised the heck out of me.
However Obama has been in Colorado a lot, lately. And he prepped at Las Vegas, which is about 2000 ft.
So I don’t think Gore’s claim holds any validity.
Maybe Obama is still high from all the pot he smoked.
So every time you fly somewhere and have to go up against local business men you can expect to lose because you were up in the air? FU!
Ok, let’s assume it was altitude.
The fact that Mitt Romney prepared IN Denver for a couple of days, to be sure he adjusted properly to the altitude, shows foresight and good judgement on his part.
Meanwhile, Obama didn’t plan ahead, and just wanted to relax at a resort in Vegas.
Same for me when I went from Long Island to Whistler Mountain in BC. Felt like a 24 hour flu.
Damn, I fly into Denver every Monday morning out of OKC. No wander people think I’m a dumb blonde. Oh wait, I fly back to OKC on Wednesday and they still think the same thing. Well, duh, now I am confused.
Format change will allow "citizens" (DNC approved plants with DNC questions) to ask questions of the candidates.
Denver’s altitude should not have been a problem for the Obama. Air Force 1’s cabin altitude is between 8000 and 9000 feet at cruise, and with all the time he has spent up there, he should have been just fine at Denver’s 5280 feet.

If 0bama were as smart as he and his mindless zealots think he is, he would have foreseen the potential problem and adjusted appropriately. The fact that he obviously did neither says a lot!!!
