The blue tablets, which are available on the NHS, have long been viewed as essential medication for men in their 50s, 60s and beyond.
Yikes! I’m 58 and don’t even think about it. I had no idea.
I suppose if you stay in shape and never take it, there is no need for it. But it looks like it’s like so many illegal drugs: Once you start taking it, you NEED it, no matter how old you are.
Mrs L has made it clear that I am not allowed in the same room with that stuff. I’m 53 and still desire her physically every single day, more than once a day if she’d let me. LOL
She says if she could bottle my libido she would be the richest woman on Earth.

I have serious problems with that statement. My husband is a 56 year old pilot that has to have a medical every 6 months. For years his doctor has been offering him Cialis at every visit. His reply is that he has no problems in that area. Once, I accompanied him due to other errands. It was sickening watching the young pilots from the local airbase come out with their Cialis gift bags- literally gift bags. My husband’s father sired 3 children in his 70s before Viagra was available. It isn’t essential medication. I can become needed because of lifestyle choices and health, but it’s certainly not “essential.” It can, however, be essential for premature infants with breathing problems.
It’s a godsend to those who have prostate cancer!
