Ohio poll: Romney leads 51-48 among those certain to vote
The Examiner ^ | 10/5 | Washington Secrets

The first post-presidential debate poll in critical Ohio shows that Mitt Romney blunted President Obama's momentum with his winning performance and is now leading the president among Ohioans who say that they are "certain" to vote.

Overall, the race is deadlocked with Obama over Romney 50 percent to 49 percent, according to the poll taken Thursday night.

But among the stunning 92 percent of all voters in the state who say they are certain to go to the polls on Election Day, Romney leads 51 percent to 48 percent. And among the 83 percent who have already made up their minds how they will vote, Romney is ahead 52 percent to 48 percent.

Over 50%, in Ohio!! For the first time! As Ohio goes, so goes the nation?

Bears out the OH absentee voting request spreadsheet that LS, Ravi and LdSentinal have been analyzing for weeks now.

In a tie or close election, “crawling over broken glass” voters beat “crawling to the voting booth to get a feature upgrade on your free Obama phone” every time.

Oh my....I guess the Labor Dept. will have to find at least two million new jobs created by The One in October to prop up his flacid poll numbers.

The real numbers are beginning to trickle out. Per Ras Romney is up slightly in VA.

It is going to be close, but the breathless MSM fantasy of a "commanding Obama lead" is quickly evaporating.

This race is shaping up nicely right now. There is no way to call Romney “down in the polls”. His debate performance was HUGE. I just hope he and Ryan are well-prepared for the fiercely rabid opposition they are going to face in the next 3 debates. The Marxist is a cornered animal and I’m guessing it’s going to get ugly.

O's still got the Ras edge among LIKELY voters. This poll counts CERTAIN voters.

That said, O will lose Ohio. Count on it.

True. I haven’t believed the poll numbers since FReepers LS and Ravi started analyzing the absentee ballot requests by county. Those are real numbers. The trend has been going our way for weeks. It’s the exact opposite of 2008.

All of the government is republican: Governor, House, Senate, Supreme Court, Sec State, Treasurer.

And the Sec State controls elections in Ohio. So, fraud will be harder for the dems to pull of this time. 2008 they had a dem Sec State.

I never thought I’d do it but after he kicked Obamas ass at the debate I sent Romney a substantial donation. I’m still wary of Mitt but he talked the constitutional talk pretty good while sachooling the fallen prince and my disdain for Obama/Biden has reached new heights. Go MITT! Kick Obama’s marxist ass!

I don’t know, maybe I’m seeing things wrong, but a 3 point lead? 2 points in other polls? WTF? Are people on crack in this country or what? You would think a President who’s been nothing but an unmitigated disaster his entire term in addition to being a complete jabbering moron the other night in the debates would be trailing by 5, 10, 15 points, but nooooo...we got 2 points there 3 points here! WHO the F is still SUPPORTING THIS IDIOT?? This is amazing, he’s like the teflon POTUS or something, he can do no wrong to these morons or maybe he’s figured out a way to mass hypnotize people? Spew some zombie gas in the air?

“WHO the F is still SUPPORTING THIS IDIOT?”

The “47%” of Americans who are getting free handouts who don’t want it to stop. They are bought and paid for by the RAT party.

Here are some of the problems getting voters to kick out an incumbent. Think about it in different terms. Lets say you bought a new car three years ago and you were so excited about this new car you bragged to all your friends about the car.

It was a car that would pay off all your debt, it would give you money, it would take care of all your health needs. Never has there ever been a car like this. You were so excited you got your friends to buy the same car. You even went on record to those doubters who tried to tell you that this car was all a mirage.

You were very wrong about the car. It was the biggest lemon ever but you don't really want to admit that to yourself. You wrestle with the question "Am I really this gullible?" If you do give up on your car and sell it, you have to face the friends you misled as well as the folks who are going to say "I told you so".

Don’t be surprised when the polls start telling us the Obama is winning again. They have to acknowledge that Obama got creamed Wednesday. They know that even the least sophisticated prole knows that Romney cleaned Obama’s clock.
Frustrated Inner Party Demoncrats like Plouf and Axelrod admitted as much yesterday.
As in Nineteen Eighty-four “Two plus two amounts to four” when it must but as soon as the shouting dies down, the polls will again reflect oversampling of Democrats. Not `gloom & doom,’ just realpolitic.
