And everybody’s paying by the same rules. That is the country believe in. That is what we have been fighting for the last four years. That is what we’re going to put in place in the next four years if you reelect me as president of the United States of America.”

So, who has been burying the middle class the last four years, and who will help the middle class in the future?
On its face that is a mostly true statement. No one is entitled to success, but they are entitled to the opportunity for success. What one does wth that opportunity is up to him. With that said, and knowing what I know about our moron President, I am pretty damn sure he also meant that no one is entitled to the opportunity for success.
Then Obama, you are NOT entitled to a SECOND TERM.

Producers grow economies,because they are the ones providing the stuff, made with the jobs they hire people to do, so that those workers can buy it with the paychecks those producers give to them.

Of course not....to a Democrat, success implies some form of actual work ——a paycheck or payout for actually doing something! They’re not about anything in that genre.

This is like watching a nervous breakdown occur on a national stage. If he were a celebrity, it would be curious and sad, but he’s the President of the United States. His life is unraveling before him on live TV and his tone is becoming one of person out of touch with reality and descending into depression. This sort of thing could get darn scary by election day if his strange behaviour keeps up.

My husband and I both work for billionaires - and so do most of the people in my neighborhood. The neighborhood where I live is nice and values are stable because we are all benefiting from the risks taken and the true grit of a few people who in the 1970s had a great idea and the fortitude to see it through.
Seems like Obama doesn’t even understand this since it happens without government intervention.

Literally, he is right (though I’m not sure this is the way he meant it). ‘Entitled to’ means ‘having an unconditional right to’ or ‘being guaranteed a right to’ something. No-one has a natural ‘right’ to success in this country, whether they work for it or not. We are all entitled to the MEANS to success through our own efforts, indeed. But the very problem of the ‘entitlement society’ we see developing around us is surely that too many people DO believe that they are ‘entitled’ to ‘success’ without having to get off their butts and work for it.
No government endows ‘success’, nor is that its role. The role of government is to provide a climate and environment which enables those who wish to work for success to achieve their dreams.

I had (at one time) 3 part-time jobs + classes while I was a student. In college all my friends where out having a great time and a wonderful campus experience... I had to WORK...I always worked and kept at it until I graduated.
After college I was on my way, and when I thought I was STILL ENTITLED TO MORE ... I took a part-time job, in addition to my straight boogie... so I could get more than I had and ALL I AM ENTITLED TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is how it works.
I don't think that I am unique in this.
