This country does not just succeed when just a few are doing well at the top,” Obama said, according to a rush transcript of the remarks. “It succeeds when the middle class gets bigger. Our economy does not grow from the top-down, it grows from the middle-out. We do not believe that anybody is entitled to success in this country. But we do believe in opportunity. We believe in a country where hard work pays off and responsibilities are rewarded and everybody is getting a fair shot and everybody’s doing their fair share. And everybody’s paying by the same rules. That is the country believe in. That is what we have been fighting for the last four years. That is what we’re going to put in place in the next four years if you reelect me as president of the United States of America.”

So, who has been burying the middle class the last four years, and who will help the middle class in the future?
On its face that is a mostly true statement. No one is entitled to success, but they are entitled to the opportunity for success. What one does wth that opportunity is up to him. With that said, and knowing what I know about our moron President, I am pretty damn sure he also meant that no one is entitled to the opportunity for success.
Then Obama, you are NOT entitled to a SECOND TERM.
Can you say “President-elect Mitt Romney?”

Producers grow economies,because they are the ones providing the stuff, made with the jobs they hire people to do, so that those workers can buy it with the paychecks those producers give to them.
Anyone else says this and it means equal opportunity. When he says it it means redistribution of wealth.

His base isn’t going to like that one.
I think what he meant is that if you ARE successful, you are not entitled to keep the fruits of that labor, you gotta share.

Of course not....to a Democrat, success implies some form of actual work ——a paycheck or payout for actually doing something! They’re not about anything in that genre.
They’re not interested in paychecks, they’re interested in payback! And that sure as (you know what!) don’t mean work.
