Incidentally, I see the U6 was unchanged. Evidently the drop in the U3 (and U4 and U5) was due entirely (up to rounding error) to people getting part-time work or leaving the labor force.

[[On Cavuto. After the initial excitement of the sci fi 7.8% unemployment figure released by Obama, the market took a second look at the background figures and decided that Obama is lying]]

UNFORTUNATELY though the public will NOT take a clsoe secodn look and just take it at face value and assume their messiah obama was the reason for the drop in numbers because he’s ‘worked so hard to put americans back to work, and now it’s ‘finally paying off’

The left had NOTHING to run on- but now they have htis bogus jobs report that they will milk for all it’s worth

Early this morning I was thinking the same thing.

By tonight, I was thinking they will overplay this as they do everything, especially what they fabricate.

Lets see how this looks in 72 hours. I'll bet I'm right.

Oh I do hope you’re right- I’m seeing some reports that the numbers were fudged, especially from walstreet folks who are stating there’s absolutely no way that drop could happen especially when looking at the current actual job situation that they are seeign for themselves and in which they bet their futures on literally- I just think the MSM however will bury thsoe remarks and just keep touting the report itself-

There’s a rumor goign aroudn that there’s ‘trouble brewing’ over soem campaign problem with the o campaign, however I think even if that turns out to be true, it still won’t hurt obama- I’m just flabberghasted at how much o gets away with- it’s mind-boggling-

So labor force participation dropped that much, eh?

Exactly. No big mystery, no scamming, just the standard dishonest statistical manipulation in place since Bill Clinton was Pres.

Yes, has to do with donors, possibly foreign donors.

Bob Woodward is supposed to have the details and looks like he will release the story on Monday. Personally, I don't trust the guy and he could be delaying until Monday so that he gets the best deal from Obama before "reluctantly" changing his mind and waiting til after the election...

foreign donars as in muslims?

Even if it’s from Al Queada itself I doubt the msm will report on it- or they at the least will downplay it and claim obama has no control over who donated or wasn’t aware and will ‘return the money’ (Yeah right)

I don’t trust woodward either- he’s a sleazy dude- and fox news keeps right on treating him like he’s an ‘esteemed journalist’- The ONLY reason he is even on the radar is because he is just sleazy enough to worm his way into the inner chambers of president’s cabinets, then turnign around and biting the hand that fed him- and because news organizations love dirt- whether true or not- they keep having him on and treating him like he’s an ‘honorable journalist’ who somehow always manages to get the dirt- Why presidents keep lettign him into hteir confidences I’ll never know-

Journo Bob Woodward is supposed to have the details WRT "trouble brewing" in Ohaha's campaign---looks to release the story on Monday.

Mmmmmmm------THE BEST IS YET TO COME

Ohaha sap-happily launched the most expensive campaign ad strategy in history----spent $300 million to tarnish Romney/Bain.

$$$$ down the drain--the $300M had little or no effect. It took only one publicly-funded debate to catapault Romney into the lead in crucial battlegrnd states.

Not to worry----Ohaha has plenty more money where that came from---looted from the US Treasury.

Newcomer Ohaha put his COS Wall Street Rahm in charge of Treasury b/c Wall Street knows how to make money disappear faster than a cream puff at a Weigh-Watcher weigh-in.

Newbie Ohaha also took over the census---where they have all the CV they need to file phony FEC reports with stolen money......many people have no idea they contributed to Ohaha's reelections campaign.

That is funny, and so true. But a Freeper beat the New Yorker to the idea.
It was posted Thursday morning. I just had to 'borrow' it for FB.

Don’t know why they’re laughing. When you can no longer have any confidence in economic data coming out of the government seems to me the market economy is pretty much scrooooood.

It's dems who are screwed. The unemployment lie is so obvious the only people lame enough to fall for it are members of the press. They don't look closely when it's their guy lying...
