WASHINGTON (AP) - Sasquatch might as well have traipsed across the White House lawn Friday with a lost Warren Commission file on his way to the studio where NASA staged the moon landing.
Conspiracy theorists came out in force after the government reported a sudden drop in the U.S. unemployment rate one month before Election Day. Their message: The Obama administration would do anything to ensure a November victory, including manipulating unemployment data.

The first two paragraphs are nearly hysterical in their defense of Obama. I simply can't believe how obvious they have become.
and now the press will report on the “conspiracy” rather than the incredibly suspect numbers . . . .

The media goons know the recently released numbers are bogus just as well as I do. But after Zer0's abysmal debate performance last Wednesday, coupled with Crazy Joe Biden's comment that 0's misadministration wants to raise taxes by $1 trillion, Zer0 and his handlers were desperate to try and turn his sliding poll numbers around. Will it work? Only with the uninformed and the weak minded.
Anyone who believes that 14.7% number is not the real number only need ask him or herself would they believe that way if they were in that category of the underemployed? My guess is, probably not.

The numbers are “accurate” and “real”.
However they arise from ~600,000 people taking up second jobs or part-time jobs out of economic necessity. AEI calls these the “involuntarily employed” (or something like that).
A discussion of the analysis is going on on another thread here. It’s definitely worth the look (it completely changed how I personally view the matter), and the numbers are MUCH more damning of Obama and the Obama Economy/Recession/Depression than they’d be if they were simply cooked up.
They stop counting 870,000 people who have exhausted their benefits.
The conspiracy is the Mass Media is refusing to report that fact.
Jack Welch on Anderson Cooper being badgered and begged to take back his accusation on Twitter that the Obama administration cooked the books. Welch says he should have ended the controversial Tweet with question mark. Other than that, he’s not backing down. He said we need to look at things like assumptions used by BLS to arrive at unemployment figures.
Obamugabe is a fraud. So is American journalism...print and broadcast and much of the “new media”. I don’t care if it is big shot network pukes in New York or D.C., or LOCAL news reporters in Left Elbow Nebraska....the entire freakin’ industry is a joke.

My main wrath was the blind defense by the MSM and the ridiculousness stated in the first two paragraphs. These reporters sound like middle school girls.

Absolutely no trust. I’m listening to TCM in the background, some original program they’re doing about political movies. The only Republican president they gave time and a level of seriousness to was Nixon of course, dwelling on Watergate, the impeachment. They did two quick dismissive clips of W and Reagan, using comedic music in the background. The rest has been dwelling on Kennedy, The Manchurian Candidate, Dr Strangelove, all the dark and cynical views of politics, all from a leftist bias. Fred Thompson is the only figure from the right I’ve seen as a commentator, the rest are the usual Hollywood libs. Spencer Tracy, Katherine Hepburn, the libs. They got Jimmy Stewart out of the way quickly in the beginning because he’s too emblematic of traditional America.
Article is 100% propaganda. I’ve been telling reporters on Twitter today it used to be reporters questioned such convenient statistics so close to an election, now they mock the skeptics and protect the government (well, Dem gov’ts.)
We’ve always known that the press is biased. I’m just stunned at how openly biased they have gotten since the debate. They aren’t even hiding it now. And no one bats an eye that Axelrod openly gave them their marching orders.
U6 is the only data I look at. The rest is political.
Never understood U-4 Total unemployed plus discouraged workers.
Is there a Federal number that the currently employed call to complain about work?
