Free Republic is funded solely by contributions made by liberty loving people who enjoy and use it. We are beholden to no political party, no outsiders, no sugar daddies, no corporate string pullers. We are self-funded, fiercely independent and enjoy our freedom to speak plainly in the support of Liberty and wish to continue doing so.
Thank you all very much for making FR the number one grassroots conservative site on the Net!! Obama did not build this. You did!!
Prayers up for our nation.
LOL! Thank you!
"Texas is the second most populous and the second most extensive of the 50 states in the United States of America, and the most extensive state of the 48 contiguous United States. The name, based on the Caddo word tejas meaning "friends" or "allies", was applied by the Spanish to the Caddo themselves and to the region of their settlement in East Texas.
Located in the South Central United States, Texas shares an international border with the Mexican states of Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas to the south, and borders the US states of New Mexico to the west, Oklahoma to the north, Arkansas to the northeast, and Louisiana to the east. Texas has an area of 268,820 square miles (696,200 km2), and a growing population of 25.7 million residents."

"Known for their generosity, hospitality, unusual accent, and penchant for the larger-than-life, Texans are wonderful people to meet, and the variety of cultural experiences, from feasting on bratwurst with the Germans of the Hill Country to watching Flamenco dancers with the Tejanos of the Rio Grande valley, is seemingly unlimited.
I made lunch. Eating at my desk. lol
