OK, I don't watch a lot of regular network programming. Here's what I watch:
Major Legue Baseball
College and NFL Football
Occasional reruns of Frasier, which appear on the Hallmark Channel I believe.
My wife, however, watches various things on Bravo like those insipid Real Housewife shows, Top Chef, etc. (Yes, I know...) and Lifetime Channel.
Neither of us have seen a SINGLE Romney ad in weeks. Not one. I have seen dozens of Obama ads, and they appear to be generating new ones all the time. The most recent, today, was a rebuttal to the debate featuring Andrea Mitchell, and I saw that at least 3 times today alone.
Are the Romney people doing ANY advertising on national cable channels? I'm not kidding when I say I've seen not one, and neither has my wife.
Are they saving their money for a big election-nigh party? Spending it on consultants?
I must admit I'm at a loss.
Why would R&R throw their money at Texas?
Additionally, Romney has pretty much won the white male vote and your programming is demographically male.
I’m in CA and can’t say I’ve seen any ads by either candidate. Maybe it’s cuz this state is a lock for The RAT-in-chief.
Maybe after a bad month or so after the DNC the donations have been down, and maybe after this debate the donations will pick up.
It’s your location. I’m in New York, and I have not seen any ads from either candidate.
These are national networks - every one. Same commercials being run nationwide.

North Carolina: $1.46 million (Romney: $900,000; RNC: $560,000)
Ohio: $3.15 million (Romney: $1.78 million; RNC: $1.37 million)
Virginia: $2.63 million (Romney: $1.43 million; RNC: $1.2 million)
Wisconsin: $1.05 million (Romney: $440,000; RNC: $610,000)
You’re in Texas, right? Is there even the slightest hint that Obama will carry Texas?
Romney is smart enough to get maximum return on his campaign dollar so he’ll spend it in swing states or anywhere he thinks he has a chance at picking up a state. He’s not worried about Texas.
Obama is used to wasting other peoples money, so he’ll blow it anywhere, including Texas.
He loaned it all to the Obama camp so they could roll it and snort blow.
It appears to be rather effective, don’t you think?
Again...these are national networks. National ads. People all across the country are seing the same ads. Of course, he wouldn’t advertise on local channels in Texas I understand that.
But these ads are all being seen in Ohio, Florida, and everywhere else. I just don’t get it.
I am in the central coast area and obama is running ads here, no Romney ads.
He has been focusing on swing states. I’ve read a lot from others in those states that he is hammering them hard.
Romney will likely win 60% of the vote in Texas
Unless you’re in a swing state or a media market shared with a swing state, don’t expect to see anything on cable or in any slots that are sold by a local station.
I’m guessing closer to the election we’ll see some national media buys, but they’ll be fairly thin, compared with “saturation bombing” in the swing states,and targeted on the demographic of the show they run in.
Anyone seeing more in swing states?
...also consider the media buys we have here. If it is a local buys like KETK, KLTV, etc, they don’t have a lot of reach and isn’t really needed. Locally we went something like 80% for Bush in 2004 and 75% for McCain in 08. There aren’t too many to convince here.

I don't think so, most slots on cable-only channels are sold by the local cable provider. (Or at least that's the way it looked to me back when I had cable.)
I’ve seen several Obama ads during breaks in the baseball playoff games on TBS.
Nothing at all from Romney.
