Quite by accidental channel surfing, I was told about a live appearance of Gov. Romney at an Education Meeting in NYC on the day when he and Pres. Obama were in New York. He knew what he wanted to say, said it clearly without equivocation. Then questions were taken from the audience - which were supposedly random, but were obviously carefully chosen, based on the nature of the gotcha type questions.

Romney was cool and clear and to one questioner who referenced some kind of poll that said that most families of schoolchildren favored the teachers’ unions, he replied, “I don’t believe you, I know something about polls...”

I tried to find a news article via Google to expand on my comments here, and surprise, surprise, the only sources are blogs - no actual news articles.

I wonder why!!!!

This is the first time I ever laid eyes on the smarmy weasel, I fear he will now be a permanent annoying fixture on the news programs as the new replacement for the worn-out Wash Rag.

Oh, no worry there. The smelly one wants to take over occupancy of the WH in 2017, that’s what this gig today is ALL about.

"The new Obomber spokesmouth, O’Malley, claiming the failed President Bush left Obama a $10 Trillion deficit."

That appears to be the newest Obama lie. Jon Stewart said it, as well. The hope is that enough fools will believe it.

The truth CAN be confusing when a Republican fails to follow the Democrat line of lies and misinformation.

Democrats are now in full “projection” mode. They do it so they expect everyone else to do it as well.

Gibbs and Martin O'Malley... they seem to be fixtures every week (almost every day!). Reaction to both is UGH...

Communism just isn’t a real answer to any problem and is never chosen by people except when the choices are it or a firing squad. That is what Obozo was trying to sell and what the country now knows is an inferior product. As bad as he was in the debate he is the perfect spokesman for communism since he has been indoctrinated on it from the time he was born and groomed his entire life.

Just part of a brilliant post by a brilliant poster. If you want to delve into the weeds of why Obama was so off for the evening there are a myriad of suggestions.

One is that he was just coming off yet another cocaine habit binge and the drugs used to get him off reacted during the debate. Yet another was that it was all falling apart and the diversions, methods used to try and win his all-important election were shall we say coming home to roost. I could go paragraph after graph on that one but will save it for later.

O’Malley plans to run for rat prez in ‘16 so he'll be everywhere pushing the rat spin-job. His annoyance factor will only increase.

Just an idle thought:

Given the “wonderful” performance of The 0 and his Clown Posses’ near panic ever since, what’s the odds that there will be some Great Event pop up in the next week or so that will “force” cancellation of the rest of the debates?

(Yeah, I’ll include the VP Debates....that’s been a train wreck waiting to happen for the ‘rats ever since Biden got nominated.)

In fact, the whole thing [$5 trillion tax cuts] is like a trip into the Twlight Zone.

Team Obama just grab things out of the air and throw them against the wall in hopes that something sticks.

Romney wants to cut $5 trillion [Romney called Obama on that 3 different times in the debate, and Obama continued to use it even in Friday campaign speeches]

Other pulled out of the air allegations include:

Libyaian crisis caused by a video

Romney the felon

Romney the tax cheat

Romney the murderer who killed Joe Soptic’s cancer-ridden wife

==

As the polls change and show Obama losing ground, look for even greater allegations aimed at Romney. Dan Rather's fax machine may be running overtime to come up with stuff.

Doing a debate from rote memory works as long as the discussion stays on the rails.

However, if actually required to create thought and utter it de novo, one must truly have a firm grasp of the subject, and know what thet need to say.

In this regard, Obama and Biden fail, because what they say has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with what they believe and plan on putting into place.

The truth CAN be confusing when a Republican fails to follow the Democrat line of lies and misinformation.

The FNS panel referring to the recent improved job numbers, nobody mentioning RATs cooking the books on unemployment. Mara describing how Romney distancing himself from the modern Republican party.

I wouldn’t put anything past the Democrats as they are so exposed and voters are learning what their true motives are. I doubt they could get away with it as things are right now because too many people are watching. Also because the Democrats are expecting a big comeback from Biden this week and then 0zero in the upcoming other two debates.

I do wonder if their October surprise turned into a September surprise since there was so much early voting going on. I kind of think they blew it early this year and are now trying to play catchup with new claims that are obviously a ploy to avoid the truth of a failed 0bama presidency.

Still, I never put anything past them as they try to change the dynamics of the election.

On Fox Panel:

Brit Hume just exposed Obama perfectly: the man I saw in the debate is the one I have been watching for the past four years. He is not a debater.

Mara Liasson’s view of Romney’s remarks sounds like she might vote for him.
