Obama said, “When a little boy is kidnapped, turned into a child soldier, forced to kill or be killed — that’s slavery. It is barbaric, and it is evil, and it has no place in a civilized world.” And then Obama went ahead for the third time and waived the Child Soldiers Prevention Act signed into law by President Bush and co-sponsored by a bipartisan group of senators, including Obama and Biden.
Obama not only waived a law he had co-sponsored, claiming that it was in the national interest, he did it after denouncing the very activity that he waived.
The waiving of the Child Soldiers Prevention Act means US aid and weapons can continue going to the specified countries that use child soldiers. But there is one new country on the list. Libya.

There should be a perfect opportunity. Back in the day, when the Democratic congress revised the law requiring companies anticipating large numbers of layoffs to give sixty days notice of such, Obama was right there, proclaiming the evils of mean corporations. And the prohibition of children being coerced or used by military forces, the same.
Now that it’s not in his immediate interests to comply with or enforce the laws he promoted and signed - both of these examples illustrating the “feel good” mentality of the liberals - he decides they shouldn’t be enforced.
First, it’s a means of stealing the election; second, it illustrates a point I’ve made several times here on FR: either he does not think forward to anticipate the ramifications of his actions, or he does think about them, but grossly underestimates the negative results.
No, he is a wannabe Dictator who changes laws at a whim to achieve his ends....it is that simple. Demigod.

The third I forgot to mention, is Obama’s partial amnesty of illegal aliens.
He takes all of these actions, as a sitting president in the final days of a re-election campaign, with a primary motive of buying his re-election through blatant attempts at bribing selective large groups of constituents.
I don’t understand how the Executive branch of our government can just waive laws it is chartered to enforce.
