Survey Says GOP Women Are Prettier

Theyre calling it the Michele Bachmann effect. And no, its not the Minnesota congresswomans crusade to ban falafel from public schools. It refers to the relationship between a womans politics and her face.
Allison Yarrow hit the Highline to see if people could tell a difference between Democratic and Republican female politicians.
Women politicians with stereotypical feminine facial features are more often Republicans, found researchers at UCLA]. And the more feminine their features, the more conservative their voting records. They also found the reversethat women with more masculine facial features tended to be Democrats. Less gender-typical visages tracked with more liberal voting records. The correlation between face and party ideology was stronger for Republican women politicians than Democrats.
Psychology Professor Kerri Johnson and graduate student Colleen Carpinella applied computer modeling to pictures of the entire 111th U.S. Congress to determine which facial features and the spacing between them connote a more masculine or more feminine face. They then asked college students to look at the 434 portraits and guess which women belonged to each partyand they pegged Republican women correctly 98 percent of the time. Johnson and Carpinella posit that the reason for these facial correlations in women politicians stem from perceived gender roles entrenched in each partys DNA.
"The Democratic Party is associated with social liberal policies that aim to diminish gender disparities, whereas the Republican Party is associated with socially conservative policy issues that tend to bolster traditional sex roles," Johnson said in a UCLA release.
The trend did not apply to male politicians in the same way. Male Republican faces scored less masculine than Democrats, but the researchers found this less interesting than the data about women because they said male politicians are less likely to exhibit masculinity through their appearance than through their actions.

Reading some of the comments on theat site are funny. I’m sure they’re all Democratic feminazis making them.
Look at this one-
“Democrat men tend to be more loyal, a lot smarter, funnier and aren’t the philanderers or perverts that republicans men seem to be.”
Uh, Bill Clinton? JFK? RFK? LBJ? FDR? Ted Kennedy? Gary Hart?, etc., etc.
These libs live mentally in an alternate universe that has little or no resemblance to reality.

This also holds for First Ladys. Another reason I am for Mitt Romney is its about time our country once again had a First Lady with some grace and class and who was not a constant embarrassment to our great country. Ann Romney being pretty as well is just an added plus.

Sandra Bernhard issues 'gang rape' warning to Sarah Palin
BY TRACY MILLER
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
September 19th 2008
Sandra Bernhard issued a blistering warning to Sarah Palin during a performance of her new one-woman show.
The Republican V.P. nom would be "gang-raped by my big black brothers" if she enters Manhattan, Bernhard said. Palin is said to be making a campaign stop in New York next week.
"[The gang rape comment] is part of a much larger, nuanced, and yes, provocative (that's what I do) piece from my show about racism, freedom, women's rights and the extreme views of Governor Sarah Palin, a woman who doesn't believe that other women should have the right to choose," Bernhard told the Daily News today.

Here are two actual photos of Michelle Obama at two different G-20 Summits.
The other is of her receiving lessons in etiquette from junkman Fred Sanford.
