Update 10:50 p.m.: According to the Associated Press, Venezuelas electoral council has declared that Hugo Chavez beat Henriques Capriles in Sundays presidential election with about 54 percent of the vote, despite exit polls showing otherwise.
Venezuela Twitter users have claimed Chavezs victory was wrought with election fraud, and that the socialist incumbent president sent tanks into the streets of his country as those exit poll reports showed him losing. A picture of the tanks surfaced on Twitter Sunday evening.
The British Guardian newspaper reported that Chavez also sent troops armed with AK-47s into Venezuelas streets to fight against any protests in case unrest came as a result of the news.

Coming soon to a nation near you.
Lose this election and it will happen here.
Bet on it.
Well of course. The ends justify the means, you see.
Where is Sean Penn when you need him?
I’m sure the DUmmies will just call the troops in the street a “parade” of spontaneous celebration.
Agree with your comment “coming to a nation near you”.
Citizens of The United States of America wake up this will happen here.
God Bless America.
Isn’t this the same crap that got Chavez in there in the first place?
They need a revolution.
Where’s Jimmy Carter when you need him?
Obama isn’t going to lose.
He’s going to cheat like Chavez did.
And the media will insist that it was the fairest election ever - just like in Venezuela.
That’s what happens when you don’t have a second amendment.
What is the purpose of the 1.5 BBillion ammo rounds of the DHS ....?
Do you STILL wonder? I do not wonder.
And if it looks like Obama will lose this is EXACTLY what will happen here
Win the election, and it still may happen there.
I'd like to laugh but this is way not a joke.
The crowds for Capriles on Friday were HUGE. I have a hard time believing that Chavez won honestly.
This outcome is predictable.

The pictures at the link are BMP’s, not tanks. Sheesh
