Cecily Strong took over as Rachel Maddow, who decided to look on the bright side by focusing smugly on one of Romney’s few slips of the tongue and then gloating over an unflattering frame of Romney (“Nice face, governor”)....

'SNL' mocks Obama's lackluster debate appearance
They're really mocking the media - but the reason for their melt down is the bell that cannot be unrung.
Obama crashed and burned at the debate.
Romney soared and ignited the electorate.
Right on.
If you go back to the 2008 Democratic debates before the primary season...you see virtually the same Barak Obama. He’s simply good or average....at debates. Against Hillary and Governor Richardson...he does OK. Against McCain, he shows off very well (McCain is lousy at debates). Well, now he’s come to face one of the premier debaters in America today...and he can’t compete at that level. Even Biden will have problems against Ryan.
By the end of the second Obama-Romney debate, I think there will be a safe five percent lead in all the swing states. There won’t be much left to discuss in the final debate. End of the story.
It just warms my heart to see the MSNBC thugs made fun of like the freaks they are.
One of the best SNL skits I’ve seen in ages...although it still wasn’t as good as the real Chris Matthews’ breakdown after the debate. Now that was priceless.
I still think Biden will beat Ryan....he shouldn’t,but he’s been at this for 40 YEARS!!!

The funny part of this skit is that real life topped, in a comedy sense, the skit.
Nothing the SNL writers could have come up with would have topped the reality of MSDNC on Wednesday night in head to head comedic gold.
What I am doing is hitting the NYT, Huff, etc. boards to do the latter two.
Anyone else have ideas on what we can do?

What Ryan should do is play with Biden and make him make statements like "the middle-class have been crushed in the past 4 years"...

Since it’s news and “acceptable” to comment on (even SNL made fun of this) SPEAK UP everywhere you can in “amazement” that the president of the country is a phony.
I always heard that people (maybe just a joke but I like it) are sticking notes under windshield wipers of cars that have an Obama bumper sticker, alerting them that someone has vandalized their car with a campaign sticker.
But in the end it will be turnout at the polls.
Yesterday Chavez “won” in Venezuela (6 more years — which will give him 20 years total). It is becoming Cuba II.
We’re being pushed in the same direction. This election must not give Obama 4 more years.

When the REAL Romney shows up and not the cartoon figure the Obama press created, Obama was shocked. He believed his own spin.
Romney presented himself unfiltered to the American public and it was a shock to all who had not seen him unfiltered before.
When Romney didn't mimic the straw man arguments Obama spouts, they say he lied.
The American public was looking for a reason to vote for Romney and he provided it.

OBAMA will not get over 42-43% of the Popular Vote.. PERIOD. Anyone telling you otherwise is blowing sunshine up your butt.
OBama will also NOT CARRY A SINGLE STATE he did not win by 55% of the popular vote, with the exception of MN, and he will lose at LEAST a few states he won by 55% or more as well.. WI for example
I agree that Biden will get his clock cleaned by Ryan as well. This isn’t something new... the Press tried to prop up Edwards if you remember correctly and destroyed Cheney for years, and what happened when they debated? Cheney treated Edwards (rightly so) like an uninformed grammar school child. This is typical folks.. the debates and the conventions are the ONLY times the Republican candidate gets to be seen unfiltered or edited by the American people directly.... And with Conventions being too early for most of the swing voters, and carried less and less by the networks... its the DEBATES where the Republican can finally be seen. And when this happens, propped up dems are shown to be the vapuous fools they are.
Biden will do the dazzle with BS routine.
It will be a charm offensive since Biden has nothing in terms of facts or brain power of the facts. He did not last as senator by being an Obama.
Biden will fight to win PERCEPTION not the debate points.
Sorry, I’ve seen Biden and I’ve seen Ryan... Yes, Biden will try to charm, but I don’t think old grey haired gaffe machine is going to disarm Ryan.
He doesn’t have the personality or charm to pull it off.
May not be the routing of last week, but Biden winning? Don’t see it happening.

I think that Hussein’s sycophants are finally realizing this. Perhaps they’ll think it would be best to be on the winning side and change their wicked ways. How dumb must they feel to have hitched their wagons to Obama’s star?
In truth, I expect they’ll rally around Hussein even more, due to ideology.
