Obama's Rough Road Ahead
The American Thinker ^ | October 8, 2012 | Bruce Walker

The October 3 debate ought to have been Obama's easiest to win. Although the economy is in ghastly shape, Obama's Marxist-lite rhetoric panders to the envy and greed of millions of Americans. The Democrat campaign bet heavily upon painting Romney as a rich investor with rich pals who has no idea how ordinary Americans live. Blaming misery on the successful has been the Democrat playbook since FDR (despite the fact that FDR, JFK, Al Gore, and John Kerry were and are all multi-millionaires).

Polls suggested that this ploy was working again. It is not. The debate showed just how indefensible the left, as the malefactor of great government wealth (to put a twist of Teddy Roosevelt's famous slogan), really is to ordinary people. While there were reasons to hope that Romney could outperform Obama in this first debate -- Romney is much smarter than Obama; Romney has actually faced fighting opponents in many campaigns; and the promises of Obama in 2008 have failed so badly -- what Romney did was actually expose the emptiness and hopelessness of the left's economic program.

If nothing else, the buzz about how poorly Obama performed last Wednesday will interest viewers who might not have otherwise turned in to future debates. The solid Romney performance will enthuse Republicans and dishearten Democrats. The Democrat ticket could turn things around in the remaining three debates -- but, in fact, things will get progressively worse for Obama.

Consider what will happen on October 11. Joe Biden, the 69-year-old gaffe-prone politician, whose benefit to Democrats has been that he makes Obama look smart, will face off against the very smart, very fit 42-year-old Paul Ryan. Romney set the tone:....

Last night Venezuela lost because the fat, cancerous tumor, the DICTATOR Chavez “won”. Can the opposition prove the vote was “cooked”? It won’t do them any good even if hey can. The fat pig is there until he rots from the inside and is carried out in a box.

This should be a warning shot to all of US! If Obama, Jarrett, Axelrod, Holder and the rest of their thugs can STEAL our Presidential Election THEY WILL! It is up to all of us to see that that does not happen!

The post-debate Obamatons couldn't invent the looney-tune excuses fast enough. They looked like Energizer Bunnies---hopping all over the tube----mouthing stupid platitudes WRT O's huge debate flopola heard round the world..

The "Mitt lied" theme popped up all over----and the real question is, if Ohaha thought Mitt was lying on debate night---why in God's name didn't he say so in front of 50 million viewers?

Other cockamamie excuses for the Hush Puppy President's dog-eared performance:

THIS WAS FUNNY Al Gore said it was "climate change."

THIS WAS EMBARRASSING A Black Georgetown Prof said as a Black man, Obama did not have the white man's lingo to go after Mitt.

RECAP----Debate in Denver----"The Day The Music Died."

So what happened at the debate? Maybe Ohaha was off his meds---- looking on the floor for his Xanax. Maybe he just got flustered----thinking David Axelrod had screwed-up and had sent him to the wrong venue? Ohaha sure looked like he didn't want to be there.

More likely, deep in their dark inner sanctums, Team Obama came to believe their own hype. They were so certain Obama was The One and Romney was the dribbling idiot they had dreamed up.....who never even hugged his trashman.

Too bad, the braindead Obamatons didn’t count on how politically nimble, on-point, fact-filled and tactically clever Romney could be in a debate.......up against a sitting president who morphed into a smirking Hush Puppy.

Team Obama thought their wet dreams about Romney were real and that cool, calm Obama would destroy him in a debate. Huge miscalculation----one The Team won’t make again.....but the damage is already done.

Romney isn’t the same candidate he was before Wed's debate. He’s more credible, more electable, more presidential — and far more of a threat to the Obama strategy.......and is surging ahead at Mach One speed in key states.

EXPOSED 2008 candidate Obama calculatedly talked about bipartisanship and moderation....said he wanted to be another "Reagan" ......... but once in office, Obama's true colors showed---he supported and pushed radically liberal policies on an unsuspecting electorate. That electorate now knows they were duped into supporting a wolf in sheep's clothing.

But we know that Chavez--who has undergone more than one cancer treatment--may not be long for this world.

But I think people forget that Romney did his homework in practicing for the first debate, and you KNOW Romney has already done a number of simulated townhall debates where every questioner--including the moderator--was openly hostile against him. This could end up boding less well for Obama in the next debate than people think.

“This could end up boding less well for Obama in the next debate than people think. “

That’s what I’m thinking. In the first debate, Buckwheat came across as sheepish, hesitant and mushy. I’m betting that his advisors are telling him to be aggressive and fanatical. In the next debate, he’ll look like screaming Bolshevik and a fascist delivering a speech at Nuremburg, and the leftists will love it.

That may actually not play well in much of the country because it makes Obama sound like a raving lunatic compared to the "controlled" Romney.

The point most people seem to have missed about town hall debates is that participating in one is a lot like making a high stakes presentation to a skeptical board of directors where the presenter is likely to be challenged from a number of different perspectives. Romney's done that for his entire career and succeeded brilliantly.

Obama’s never really done it at all. Indeed, he's done the precise opposite and run from the opportunity whenever he could. There's no record he ever debated in high school, college, or law school. When he was a “constitutional law lecturer” at the University of Chicago College of Law, he assiduously avoided the informal faculty seminars where the professors tore into each in lively debates. If he were any good at debating and had the quick mind necessary for it, he's have gloried in that kind of intellectual contest. All this shows he's nothing but the empty chair Clint Eastwood used, and basically realizes it. A profound deficiency like that cannot be fixed by any amount of preparation. Rather, intense preparation just confuses, flusters, and frustrates the person, making him more anxious and inept each time out.

He had 51 years to be prepared. He smoked weed, used other drugs and skated thru life.

Not atending school at Occidental when it was a gift to be there is one example.

Using drugs & bragging about it is another example.

Not really being in attendance at either Columbia or Harvard is another example. NO one remembers him.

Freezing all of your lifetime records is another example. Cannot let anyone see who you really might be!!!

Not being visible to any of your college classmtes is another example.

Sitting in Jeremiah Wright’s “church” is another example.

Launching your political career in the living room of William Ayers & Bernadette Dorn is another example.

Writing pure lies in his books and selling such lies to the public is another example.

Tampering with SEALED divorce records so he could run UNOPPOSED into the Illinois Senate is another example.

Not getting thoroughly vetted by the DNC before even being candidate for President is another axample.

Providing a total forgery of a ‘birth certificate’ is another example. “I gave you what you asked for—You HAVE to believe it”.

Future authors have a stockpile of items to write about in the future, when they unmask the black “Lone Ranger’.

Our problem is that we have to live with him in charge now-———ask Ambassador Stevens how that worked out for him & 3 others.

He HAS to be fired.
