Looking good in many places, seeing reports of Obama lagging behind in many districts across the country by 10% or over that he needs to win and way behind the votes he took in 2008...This is not 2008 folks.

probably gives us a good indication as to why Obama went running ti WI the morning after the debate.

On Nov.6th the deluded MSM is going to get another harsh dose of reality, like they did in 94, and 2010.

Ok, here are some of the pieces of evidence we have:

Zero running way behind the numbers needed to win in key counties/districts, such as the Cong district from Franklin Co.

Ds running 5-20 points behind 2008 levels in almost every county in OH. R senators---in some, not all---polls running ahead of Dems in states Zero is supposed to win (McMahon, Mandell).

to me, these add up to massive phony polls and what may well be a very big Romney win.

Tell me about it, the BS in the media is busy sticking their fingers in their ears and hand over their eyes to what could well demolish the Obama train.

This also goes to show you why Barack Obama insists on “going through the motions” even though I saw his convention speech and last week’s debate performance as evidence that he knows he’s in over his head and he doesn’t even want the job anymore. If he were to capitulate like he wants to, he’d bring on a rout of the Democrats in swing districts like this.

I don’t really think he cares if the Dems get routed, its a “if i’m going down, you are going down with me” attitude, he has always had like a petulant child.

This district is nominally a D+3 district but Romney is running R+3 in it and the congressman R+11. This does not bode well for Obama. You just cannot lose districts like this by 10% in WI and win an election overall.

The poll was done last week before the debate.

Wait till the next debate, obama has a new Totus and it has been implanted in a contact lens.

It will appear that obama is staring at the ceiling but he will just be trying to focus on it's {his} response.

Looks like Michigan may be in play, Paul Ryan coming to Detroit suburb tonight with Kid Rock. If Obama comes to town we will know it’s in play.

Re-districting didn’t hurt either being in the remap which removed Petri (R) and gave me Kind (D.) Kind’s new distict includes most of the democrat area of a state senate district that supported recall of Walker and a Republican state senator and put a newly elected state Rep (Assemblyman)(Krug)I vigorously supported who dislodged a 20 plus year dem hack from office in danger.

It did look like Obama threw the fight the other night. All due respect to even Twinkie Boy Scott Rass, but no way this year are Dems going to be + anything in voter advantage. ANY poll with ANY Dem advantage is junk, even Rassmussen, this is looking like 2010 all over again from the empirical and anecdotal data on the ground. Sorry Dems and Dem pollsters you are headed for a blowout. Ryan visiting Michigan today…hmmm. Watch team R&R will start visiting Pa, and NH. NC, VA, Indiana, Mo, and Co once “battlegrounds” are going Romney , sticka fork in them for Obama. Obama HAS to win Florida and Iowa, Michigan and Wis. All of them,.. which he won’t. Time to start thinking Romney transition team, this one is over.

Well, thanks a lot! WE got Petri (RINO) and lost Sensenbrenner. Most of us are hoping that Petri will retire next time around. Jeff Fitzgerald would be a wonderful replacement who would garner a lot of support around here.

We feel your pain in District 3. Kind comes out every couple of years, touts his *record* and then goes back to his easy lifestyle of doing whatever Pelosi and Hillary tell him to do. We just can’t get rid of him. And now we also have Shilling at the State level.

I’d like to know if this poll takes into account the re-districting, which I’m guessing it does.

That would mean you can’t really compare the results in this poll versus 2008. This is now a much more GOP district.

This also looks to be an internal candidate poll, and those always seem to favor the candidate by plus 5 no matter what.

The poll is good news, but take it with a grain of salt here.

The re-districting was based on the Prosser vote.
Petri, is certainly no Sensenbrenner but has at least voted with the block when called for. He does believe in holding accountability sessions and had conducted them regularly while districted in this area.

Re internal polling
When running campaigns I never believed in doing an internal plus + polling. Your objective is to find out your standing. But that being said, what you report is another matter.

Kind is being opposed by Boland a retired Col and former commander of Fort McCoy. He made an appearance at our (Adams County) Lincoln Day Dinner and his stump speech was that of his former Army record period.

Nothing about local issues one of which would be ,particularly here in Adams County which is loaded with the stuff, silica sand, the use of fracking and the reluctant policy to permit its use by the administration. While he could have gone into veteran issues particularly the diminished retirement benefits he didn’t.

He didn’t pass out a brochure leastwhile I was there, having left before the conclusion so I don’t even know what his website address is

I do have his yard sign and will post it and vote for the guy because he’s there but he better be doing more than just showing up if he wants to win.
