Kid Rock to appear at Paul Ryan campaign rally

Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is a professed heavy metal fan, but he’ll be getting a little help on the campaign trail from a musician known more these days for his guitar-heavy rock tunes than his headbanging prowess.

Michigan native Kid Rock will appear and introduce the Wisconsin congressman at a Monday rally in the rocker’s home state, according to the local news site mlive.com.

This is awesome! Kid Rock could actually sway the vote with a lot of these MI folks. Rock is an all American with a legitimate concern about the future of the Republic and understands why he’s so rich and how to get richer.

I saw him on “Diners, Drive ins, and Dives” didn’t have a clue about who he was, I am Old. He came across well, didn’t get my liberal slime feelings up and he brews beer.

All summer long might be my favorite song of the the past 20 years. I know some of the social convservative here might not like him, but if convservatives want to win, we need his fans.

i like Kid Rock... and i like his story... how he became successful... it didn’t happen over night, as it really never does... takes hard work and determination... i like that he believes what he believes and isn’t afraid to stand up for it... especially since he is a music artist in the entertainment industry...

I like that song too but as he totally lifted the guitar riff from "Sweet Home Alabama" I assume that Lynyrd Skynyrd is getting a lot of royalties from it as well!

Actually it is a stereotype that conservatives are fuddy-duds who sit around listening to Lawrence Welk and Doris Day. Conservatives in the 21st century are pretty much up to speed with current music trends. I think there are a lot more conservative rock stars also, but many of them keep it to themselves as they don't want to hurt their record and ticket sales.

I have been aware of Kid Rock since the late 1990s and the song “Cowboy.” I like the fact he got away from rap and hip hop and is now purely a rock/country singer.

I don't care who this douchebag supports.

Cutting a hole in my flag and sticking his greasy sweaty self through it tells me everything I need to know aboout this piece of shit.

He didn't "lift" nothing.....it was all arranged.

"All Summer Long" is the title of a song recorded by Kid Rock. It was released in 2008 as the third single from his seventh studio album Rock n Roll Jesus. The song samples two hit songs of the 1970s, Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London", and Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama"........

Play that song and right after it play Werewolves of London.

My bet is either Kid Rock is a Lican or Warren Zevon enjoys the good weather.

He can take every other flag and cram them up his ass for all I care. Countless patriots have given their last measure of devotion fighting for what that flag represents, and seeing that level of disrespect makes me want to puke. At least when someone burns a flag they're making a statement; his bullshit is nothing more than a stupid thoughtless gimmick designed to put money in his pocket. It's sickening and absolutely intolerable. He deserves nothing but scorn.
