Obamas 10 percentage point lead (47%-37%) in a poll conducted last month by EPIC-MRA of Lansing dropped to 3 points (48% to 45%), according to the poll of 600 likely voters conducted by EPIC-MRA of Lansing. The gap between Romney and Obama was within the polls margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points
Romney has come back like gangbusters, said EPIC-MRA President Bernie Porn. Whether or not its long-lasting, only time will tell, but probably the remaining debates will be key.
Conducted in the three days following the Wednesday debate, the poll showed more than five times as many Michiganders interviewed named Romney, not Obama, as the debates winner. Romneys numbers improved most dramatically among independent and undecided voters.

To me, it’s actually baffeling why we haven’t voted for an R for President in such a long time. People have this perception now that Pa is some liberal state, but it’s not. Look at all the other elected officials. We have a Republican governor and Lt. governor. We have a Republican dominated state Senate and House. The majority of our Federal reps are Republicans and it’s split for the Senate. One Dem and one strong tea party Republican. I remember Mark Critz’s adds (a democratic representative for Murtha’s old district) from 2010. If you saw the add, you would think he was a Reagan republican. The yahoos here in Southwest Pa got snookered on that one.
It comes down the the union mentality that still exists in our state IMO. However, that influence doesn’t seem to affect any other of the races except for President.
“...The yahoos here in Southwest Pa got snookered on that one...”
Personally, I think it’s up to the damn PA GOP to get off their asses, get out of their offices, and start knocking on doors in the neighborhoods and convincing those “yahoos” what is happening.
Because if this is all from Philly and Pitts Dem voter fraud, we’ve got huge problems. Now that that judge shot down the Voter ID (”just for this election”), we have to contend with that issue - which the GOP won’t challenge, as usual.
There has been NO SHIFT in voter attitudes. What we see happening is the polling firms being forced to stop using fraudulent numbers, in order to maintain even a shred of credibility.
Well I thought it near impossible that Christie would win, but he did!
I hope the swing to sanity in Jersey continues!
I just love it - her gravy train is ending.
I Obama loses THAT state, he’s REALLY TOAST!
