People have wondered why I’m so “even-keeled”.
I explain it’s two things:
- I’ve studied self defense; having considered how to deal with people trying to kill me, few other things seem dramatic
- I’ve been dead; having had my chest pried open with a car jack and having had my heart stopped & cut open, most other concerns pale in comparison.
