The Romney/Ryan yard signs have doubled here in SW Ohio since Romney kicked 0’s butt in the debate.
Romney/Ryan bumper stickers are hard to come by in Dayton area. They hand out these stickers that about the size of your fist. Nobody can see that on the back of a vehicle. Yard signs can be found, but precinct leaders gobble them up. Also in Ohio, I see the local Republican organizations are flustrated with the State Republican organization and the National organization. It’s bad when the poor guy going door to door has no support, or gets conflicting messages. They were late to the game, and now are being told to go out and re-canvas everyone for some state issue.
Instead of Romney/Ryan signs — and I, too, am in southwest/central Ohio — I’m seeing a number of blue “nobama” signs.
While I think the message is cute, and I understand it, I wonder how many drive by, see only nobama, don’t think about it, and hear only the obama part.
So, I don’t like the sign. I don’t think it’s a clear message.
