Question from yesterday's show. In the last hour near the end he had a young lady who said her parents and fiance were democrats and she was asking Rush if there was anything she could say to change their minds.

In general, it was a pretty good reply. But she indicated she was from a farm family and Rush asked if they received government subsidies for not growing things, etc. She replied yes, and he went off on do they think the subsidies will end under Romney and then paused as if catching himself to not go there. Anyone else catch it?

The pollsters dilemma: They are being FORCED to reveal REAL numbers EARLY because of the huge win for Romney in the debates.

The pollsters are going to be put under the microscope, FINALLY.

I think most pollsters have always operated in two modes:
1. Try to influence the trend by rigging the polls to favor the democrat/liberal candidate
2. Adjust the rigging to show more accurate results as the election nears, to preserve their reputation.

Look at how much Rasmussen has benefited from the perception that he was “the only one who got it right”. That kind of PR is worth millions. Follow the money and you will see the truth of the “polling industry”.

Aside from what is reported on a press release, who can honestly say any poll has been done whatsoever? They could be making all these results up! All we have to go on is their “reputation for honesty” — and if you believe that, how’d you like a good deal on a bridge in Brooklyn?

One dollar a gallon gasoline is too cheap. We need a higher price than that in order to make drilling profitable. Half of that dollar is taxes to the federal and state governments.
