“I bet he still thinks he won and, all the analysis is wrong.”

That would be some major denial if he thinks that.

But with the guy’s ego, it wouldn’t surprise me a bit.

Obama’s fatal flaw: toxic levels of self-esteem mixed with manifest incompetence

JIM LEHRER: "Your time is up, Mr. President."

B. HUSSEIN OBAMA: "I still had five seconds left before you interrupted me!"

I think Jim Lehrer's comment there will go down as one of the most prophetic comments of this election. Good bye, Barky. Your time is up.

Maybe he was trying to diss Romney - to convey his disdain and contempt by deliberately smirking at his remarks while not bothering to look him in the eye.

He was certainly trying to project that, but the truth is, he really couldn't look Romney in the eye. Coward.

Any bets on whether he shows up for Romney's inauguration? I'll go 10-1, in your favor, that he skips out.

So his hubris and arrogance is as bad a people have been saying in FR. It’s actually worse. He is even more self-absorbed and delusional than I thought. I guess this goes with having his thin skin and ego massaged by so many and adoring fans. NO insight.

You know, I was wondering that same thing today.

He has to show up. If he doesn't, he'll become the most disrespected ex-president in US history.

(that was gonna happen anyway, but still...)

Those are my thoughts exactly. Demote all regulat lamebrain, leftist, mainstream media (especially the NY Slimes and ASSociated Press, as well as all mainstream media) to the back of press room, and never call on them. And then bring in the “alternate” media, conservative talk show hosts, conservative bloggers, FReeRepublic, WND, and seat them at the front of room and only field questions from these folks. Ohhhh I would love to see & hear the howls of outrage from the dissed MSM.

In order to prepare one has to be challenged during the preparation sessions.

For the first time I agreed with a Michael Moore comment "That's what you get from using John Kerry as a debate coach".

I know but I think it's in his nature. Both as a narcissist who will be in depression and as an America-hating neo-Colonialist. It will be in keeping with being the most disrespectful president in history. Something he might see as a plus for his future standing as a post-American ex-president.

I suppose MO would threaten to beat his twerpy little butt though if he tried it. She has her post WH status to think about too.

Oh, I'm sure his inner thug would just love to diss Romney and Ryan by not showing up to their inauguration, but even Barky knows that he'd be branded as a hateful little loser for life, if he did it.

I'd more expect for him to show up and try to steal the limelight, in a grand preparation for his next job as Emperor of The World .. LOL

(You're right. Mooch would twist his ears off if he missed it)

No, Barky’s going to turn over the keys to the White House with some sort of grandiose flourish, intended to make him look regal, and make Romney look like a somewhat undeserving successor.

Clinton tried to do the same thing on his last day in office. The press lapped up every stupid moment of his farewell speech, and Bubba did his best to make it seem as though Camelot II had ended.

“We did a lot of good. Yeah....we did a lot.”

Barf! I thought he’d never leave.

Having said that, IMHO zero is no George H.W. Bush, or Carter for that matter (as far as tact and class go).

I say - unexpected illness (Flu/etc) that causes him to be rushed to the hospital for observation -- thereby not only missing the inauguration, but turning the news cycle to himself.

I'm not sure. My impression is that the house was purchased for Obama to live in but not own. Who knows about the future, though.
I spent four days on the main island of Hawaii and had to leave because I became claustrophobic. The only thing one can do there is drive around in a big circle.

Wilkow - -? (We’re in So. CA) - - -

Don’t think BHO would have to ‘purposely’ incite a riot if he loses - OR wins!!!
Understand T. Sowell has also put forth this possibility.

Masses are just waiting for any excuse, me thinks.
Poor innocents in these idiots’ ‘territories.’
One riot site will affect surrounding area.

Keep car gas tank filled. Get to half - fill up.
Put up some supplies. Food Water Meal Bars: Cliff, etc. Remember pets.
Supermarkets would be stormed.
Hygiene products. Prescriptions.
Paper products.
Candles. BICS.
Flashlight. Batteries. Port. radio.
Playing cards. Magazines.
Vodka, Rum, etc. Multiple purposes! ! !

You can think of what you want/need.
For those ahead of this, please excuse . . .

Long haul trucks won’t get to markets - ?
Spectre of the trucker at Normandy in L.A. during the R. King riots. Hauled out and beaten.

All kinds of theories around.
Even chatter aBout rioting could cause panic.
Serious.

“Wilkow - -? (We’re in So. CA) - - -”

I am in Central Connecticut. I would much rather be in So. CA than Central Connecticut though. Wouldn’t be much of a difference in politics or taxes for that matter. I listened to Wilkow on the satellite. He is quite good, but he comes on during the work day, so I listen to Rush at work, since I don’t get the satellite on my radio there.

I been preparing, and more so the last 3 months. I appreciate people such as yourself for the reminders and the recommendations. I found I can still use the stuff as long as replace it and “rotate” it.

You bet, esp being in So CA in the winter vs CT!

Not into satellite stuff - yet.

We have a neice in Glastonbury. Born on Long Island. We’re from Long Island. Would wave to CT across the Long Island Sound from one of many beaches on the North Shore.

When I was a kid, in the ‘40’s and ‘50’s, the view was often clear to CT. Not so later - smaze, maybe??

Yes, it’s the rotating of food stuffs that’s a challenge - can be annoying!
No need to rotate paper and plastic, tho.

Add vitamin supplements to that list.
And trash bags.
Also Baby Wipes - in case of unavailable water for a while - -
The military in Iraq and Afghanistan all these years have caused Baby Wipes to become a hot commodity!
And the basic First Aid kit.

I can see Long Island (Orient Point), and the “Race” from my office. I work at EB. Its a nice view. I actually live in Colchester a couple towns from Glastonbury. I am originally from Florida.

Too funny that you came from Florida to Conn!
Didn’t you bump into folks going the other way??!

Orient Point - that’s out a ways.
The north shore beaches I was at were Oyster Bay (not that much), not THAT far from Queens out on the north shore.
Going east, there was Huntington, Northport, and Sunken Meadow, east of Northport. It’s Sunken Meadow I mostly have the ‘seeing CT’ memory.

EB?
The ‘Race?’ A sailboat race, perhaps??

EB is Electric Boat. The “race”. Race Rock Light. I am not entirely sure why they call it “the race”, other than the currents in it being very dangerous. It is part of the Eastern entrance to the Long Island Sound. The “race” is between Orient Point and Fisher’s Island, which is just North of Block Island and Montauk.

I came up here when I was stationed on a submarine.
