WASHINGTON (AP) -- The State Department said Tuesday it never concluded that the consulate attack in Libya stemmed from protests over an American-made video ridiculing Islam, raising further questions about why the Obama administration used that explanation for more than a week after assailants killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans.
The revelation came as new documents suggested internal disagreement over appropriate levels of security before the attack, which occurred on the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks on the U.S.

I guess you could parse the words like a Clinton always does because the "rage and violence" was only directed at American embassies, but the attack took place on our Consulate in Benghazi. I guess Hillary intentionally used this wording to confuse the public by implying all of the attacks had to do with the video, but the reality was that Benghazi did not because it was not an embassy. How disgusting and disgraceful. These people are evil.
Excuse me for thinkin’ and all ... but didn’t they race out to try to arrest the guy that made the video that they are in no way blaming for the attack?

Those of us who were paying attention knew that this was a terrorist attack from the get-go, it’s been very instructive watching this administration spin in the wind about this and that is what is disgusting about all of this, they are all a bunch of liars. They didn’t care one wit about those who died, now I hope it comes back on them like a sledge-hammer. ?Obama’s chickens coming home to roost??
I remember back in the 90’s, we studied examples of corporations reacting to catastrophic problems. Tylenol and Coke immediately come to mind as good. What the failures all had in common was their inability to grasp the gravity of the situation and their hubris in failing to admit fault in lieu of liability. In other words, the more they spoke, the deeper they dug. The entire upper ranks of the state dept need to be fired, starting with Hillary.

The threat from the militias underscores the dangers of relying on local Libyan forces for security in the run-up to the 9/11 military-style assault. The U.S. consulate in Benghazi employed a militia called the “February 17 Martyrs Brigade” for security of the four-building compound. In addition, there were five Americans serving as diplomatic security and a group of former special operations forces that acted as a quick reaction force on the day of the 9/11 attack. Members of the militias led by bin-Ahmed and al-Gharabi overlapped with the February 17 militia, the cable says.

I know Romney won't do it, but I wish he would sweep away about 250,000 lefty gov't workers who are politicizing everything instead of faithfully doing their duties.
