my heart breaks for families struggling to survive when the parents are unemployed, or so dramatically underemployed that they still can’t pay the bills.

Church food pantries are always a place to start, and there are programs such as Angel Foods ministry that provides food for a nominal fee that is enough to feed a family of 4 for a month.

My church has a large box in the back that we put our unused coupons into and we encourage ANYONE to come and take as many of those as they need.

As for my extended family, we have let them know that they can always count on us and to let us know if they ever need anything. We (my family and my husband’s) have always taken care of our own and will continue to do so...

God Bless this country in our hour of need!

You've reminded me that Obie confided to someone that he wants re-elect because he won't be able to watch Mitt take all the accolades for the booming economy that he (Obie) put in place. That's rich.

Of course, he thought he won the debate, too.

“As one that has been sitting at that dinner table for the last 11 months, I think this a very powerful ad.”

Amen and god bless. Been there 18 of the last 36 months. Getting ready to go there again.

When Reagan was President, the media couldn't get enough of reporting on the homeless.

That same media refuses to report the heart-rending stories of people now out of work.

By the Grace of God I have never felt any real deprivation and was able to raise my own family with few financial concerns other than nuisance ones. When my wife and I were first married we had no money but it didn’t matter much since we had no kids and didn’t need much.

I feel for these families and can only encourage them to hang on until we vote the National Nightmare out of office in a month.

And its all unnecessary. Sickening

You are so right.

These last 4 years have all been about stealing from the middle class; the suffering has been intentionally inflicted.

It was a concerted effort by those in power and I do hope their day of reckoning is soon.

They must be Irish....it’s deja vu all over again except they do have greens with those potatoes.. Negro slaves were more valuable than Irish immigrants so guess who dug out the swamp lands. The expendables. The Irish. Yeah, I’m sick of minority whining.

Isn’t Angel Foods ministry out of business?
I had a neighbor that used them for a time, but I think they are no more.

Pity.

One of Obama's favorite meals is lobster.

hope this doesn't go unnoticed much longer. It is so powerful. Hannity obviously couldn't highlight a silent ad on radio, and some national pub would reach a lot of people. And I do hope the Obie administration get heartburn over this one.
But , ya’ know, Obie's created millions and billions of jobs....not as many as he'd likeand he won't rest until every American has a job. He wakes up every morning wondering how to put more people back to work....except on days when he's golfing which is 1 in 10 on average, or when he's fundraising, 5 or 6 in 10. He's promised no less than 3 times to refocus on creating jobs. What a POS !

We forget.

Obamas people don't want jobs anyway.

This ad strikes at he hearts of the working family.

Bambi voters prefer welfare, they PREFER Welfare.

Wasn’t it Al Gore who said that Republicans were causing seniors to eat dog food so they could continue to buy their medicines. Well since Barack Hussein Obama has been in office the price of dog food has even tripled.

you’re right—they closed down for good in September. However, a new company, Gaballi, is replacing some of those locations. And, as in the past, church pantries are still up and running, and ALWAYS appreciate donations.

Blessings!

Definitely agree with you! First thing is to pray constantly, and on our knees especially, begging God to have mercy on this nation. Second is to cast your vote and encourage as many people as you can to do the same.

As usual, I’ll be “clinging to my bible and my gun” (metaphorically speaking of course!) and hoping that Romney/Ryan take the presidential election and that enough Republicans are voted into the Senate to make a real change.

Next will be Supreme Court—praying that it returns to the sage keepers of the law and not the unofficial political arm of the liberal agenda.
