In second term, Obama will allow UN to tax Americans
Fox News ^
Posted on 10/09/2012 5:51:48 PM PDT by Blue Turtle
It should come as no surprise that President Obama will raise taxes if he is re-elected. But heres the shocker: He will invite the United Nations to tax Americans directly. And the proceeds would go directly to the Third World. In this way, Barack Obama will, indeed, realize the dreams of his father.

Just a little reminder of what's ahead if we don't get out and vote for Mitt Romney! I refuse to get too comfortable with the latest polls...I am cautiously optimistic. But 4 weeks is eternity in politics....VOTE for MITT !

I will consider the maggots at the UN taxing me as an act of war. Millions of other Americans will feel the same. It will get ugly.

If this were to happen, I would expect all those who value liberty to “go gault”. Quit your jobs, close your businesses.
Simple as that. Contribute to tyranny and its what you'll get. You may starve, but so will the Beast.

In his second term Obama would throw everything American up for grabs. We would have our Constitution dumped (the first and second amendment to the Constitution will be the first things to go) for the greater good of the New World Order (UN) and we would end up with a Mosque on every corner ... to start with.

Are you sure? It would likely be just tacked onto the gasoline tax, and the tobacco tax, tire excise taxes, etc.
It might be hard to avoid unless you leave the country or go Grizzly Adams.

No taxation without representation.
Or better, no taxation at all by a body that we have no control over.
UN is corrupt, it's bad enough that we already fund it with tax money, it should never be given the authority to simply take more.
If it's allowed to start, it will never end.
They will only grow more hungry and gather more power until they take control over the whole planet.
We will have financed our own enslavement to an oligarchy like we've never seen before.

Wow, sounds just like the setup in another book. I honestly don’t know how Obama won’t be re-elected since these have to be end-times. Scares me to death but I keep praying America can be on the right side when it does go down.

A United Nations with taxing authority is the de facto world government.
See how easy that was?
Remember how fast laws flew through congress immediately following 9/11? Veto-proof laws to not let this happen would be passed and put into law in hours. Only hold-up will be how long they will sit in Obamas in-box. But that can be stipulated in the law that it must be signed or vetoed within so many hours or it’s automatically law.

Yes, I’ve been referring to that tipping point for quite a few years as the point of critical mass. I think we are this close to it. My fear is that we win and we all just go back to allowing all this corruption in our govt and destruction of America continue.
We need to channel our anger and energy to stopping and reversing the damage and socialistic trends before our country is gone.

Uh, only Congress has the power to tax, the executive branch does not. The only part of this article that is credible is the Law of the Sea bullet point, and that treaty has been in play since Clinton was in the White House. Even more important that we take back the Senate. There are plenty of reasons not to vote for Obama without resorting to misleading, alarmist articles like this.

Yes, Ive been referring to that tipping point for quite a few years as the point of critical mass. I think we are this close to it. My fear is that we win and we all just go back to allowing all this corruption in our govt and destruction of America continue. Yes. Think about it. After Bush (Dubya) was elected, we were drunk with who we thought we elected and let a lot of stuff "slide". Back then, the tipping point was just a thought, an uncomfortable dream - not yet a nightmare.
We need to channel our anger and energy to stopping and reversing the damage and socialistic trends before our country is gone.
We need to understand who Romney is, especially if he wins (if he does'nt that's another story).
Romney is not our saviour. He is only an "R". Though, I believe that Romney, like Bush, loves this Country, he is still liberal at heart. A "Compassionate Conservative". With a Romney win OR an obama win, what we must do is work on a viable third party (read: conservative) candidate for the next term, or at least conservatives in the House and Senate.
We must choose. Win politically or be forced to resort to other Constitutional measures. Are we up for it?

Yup, and Egypt, and Planned Parenthood, and Red China and the Palestinian Authority, etc.
Of course, but there is a difference between the country paying a lump sum for membership and taxing citizens directly for the purpose of funding U.N. activities.
Given a choice, I'd just as soon be out of the whole thing.
