Barack Obama was a guest at the 1991 wedding of ABC senior foreign correspondent and vice presidential debate moderator Martha Raddatz, The Daily Caller has learned. Obama and groom Julius Genachowski, whom Obama would later tap to head the Federal Communications Commission, were Harvard Law School classmates at the time and members of the Harvard Law Review.
After TheDC made preliminary inquiries Monday to confirm Obama’s attendance at the wedding, ABC leaked a pre-emptive statement to liberal-leaning news outlets including Politico and The Daily Beast Tuesday, revealing what may have been internal network pressure felt just days before Raddatz was scheduled to moderate the one and only vice-presidential debate Thursday night.
Both Politico and The Daily Beast jumped to ABC and Raddatz’s defense. The Huffington Post, another liberal news outlet, joined them shortly thereafter, while calling “unusual” ABC’s attempt to kill the story before it gained wide circulation.

I have never ever heard of this woman now I see. Is this unusual for a friend to moderate a debate for your VP?
The irony is that ABC is actually drawing attention to the connection by trying to play it down. And in all fairness the fact that Obama went to a wedding 21 years ago where the groom of Raddatz was a former Harvard classmate doesn’t really seem to be provably scandalous. Once again it is the (in this case, unnecessary) cover-up that creates a more nefarious narrative than the actual event itself. Thanks ABC!
I remember how I read about Gwen Ifil(Who moderated the VP Debate in 2008) was writing a book soon after about Obama(Gwen was and still is a big Obot) but even after finding that all out and even though I despise the woman, I thought she did a good job moderating the debate. So it might be the case here with this woman but I’m not sure I dont know anything about her

A biased debate moderator may not be enough to help Biden.
I think if Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez were moderating the debate, Biden may have a slim chance.

Yeah I thought the same thing was going to happen with Jim Lehrer in last weeks debate. Being from PBS and knowing his other colleague there none other than Bill Moyers, I figured he was just as big of a lefty as him. He probably is but seems to be able to portray a more balanced and unbiased view. I didn’t notice him favoring one person or the other in the debate like I waqs expecting.
To the MSM this will be a non-story, at least until after the debate
Raddatz better not take any cheap shots at Ryan. I can see Ryan saying something like “I hear you invited Barack Obama to your wedding.. Was he there, Martha?”, or something to that effect.
Just because nobody has done anything about situations in the past doesn’t mean we shouldn’t call them out on it still.
This is the time for zero tolerance on OUR PART. Regardless of how relatively small the wrong that is put upon us, we need to scream it from the rooftops. Zero tolerance from here on out. We cannot afford to lose an inch of ground and we shouldn’t allow our govt to get away with not obeying even the most insignificant of laws.
This is the result of the damage done by the Clinton admin where they were doing things that have never been done by the presidents office before. Now Obama and his trusty LSM are taking it all to the next level.
Yeah I have to give Lehrer credit. I disagree with his politics but he let Obama and Romney debate and it was nice to see..he actually allowed it to be a fair debate..I thought it would be biased from the beginning but I was wrong. It was obvious that Lehrer was trying to help Obama out a little bit but I think even he gave up on it and just thought to himself “Screw it whats the point” and let Obama screw himself up. Maybe the same thing will happen here with this woman. Its not the fact that Obama was in attendance at her wedding, normally I wouldn’t even care, I mean so what, he was at her wedding, doesn’t mean she can’t be impartial, but its the fact that the media is trying to cover it up which means something may be up here

The people have a right to know this story. I know Romney can’t mention it in the debate (it would make him appear like he’s afraid if he did)... but party of me thinks he has a duty to do so.
While they are waiting for the debate to start Ryan should softly hum “Hear comes the bride ...”

Tonight, ABC broke the story that Obama and Hillary lied, made up the story about the protest over the film in Libya that got out of hand, made it up out of whole cloth.
It looks like ABC is about to come clean on Obama and the news about Obama being tied to the debate moderator, was more than they were willing to do for him.

But Julius is for a propaganda only Internet. He wants to get rid of anyone or anything that does not hew the party line. Which is why Obama tapped him. She is married to a man who intends for her to work at Pravda US. Plus she works for a network that put a democrat operative in as a journalist who had no training for it, but had studied for the Greek Orthodox ministry prior to working on the Clinton campaign.
