The State Department now says it never believed the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was a film protest gone awry, giving congressional Republicans new fodder for criticizing the Obama administration's initial accounts of the assault.

The State Department's extraordinary break with other administration offices came in a department briefing Tuesday, where officials said "others" in the executive branch concluded initially that the protest was based, like others in the Middle East, on a film that ridiculed the Prophet Muhammad.

That was never the department's conclusion, a senior official told reporters.

...there’s a whistleblower according to Issa...

This could get interesting if the press can't keep a lid on the story.

doublethink - Reality Control. The power to hold two completely contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously, and accept both of them.

In order for a person to be effective at doublethink, they must master the art of crimestop.

This word has made its way into the Merriam-Webster dictionary:
dou•ble•think (’d&-b&l-”thi[ng]k), noun, Date: 1949 : a simultaneous belief in two contradictory ideas.

Here is how Winston Smith described doublethink in the novel:
“To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again: and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself. That was the ultimate subtlety: consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word ‘doublethink’ involved the use of doublethink.’

I’m pretty sure if John Wayne came back to life, zombie John Wayne wouldn’t stand for it. And it gives me a headache. The truth isn’t in them.
It’s like Zero’s confabulations over his poor debate performance. Instead of saying, “I did poorly. I’ll do better next time,” like a man, his minions lie, obfuscate & finger-point, as he did.
So the “most transparent administration ever” is rotting from the head down. No surprise here.
Kid Rock was right. Those of us who love our country were hoping Obama would do a good job. He hasn’t.
Sayonara, looser.
