PITTSBURGH (AP) -- A teenager who sucker punched a schoolteacher in a downtown alley - an attack caught on surveillance video - apparently picked the victim at random, police and school officials said.
The attack happened last Thursday at about 3:30 p.m. The surveillance video, which Pittsburgh police used to make an arrest Tuesday, shows the 15-year-old suspect walking with several other youths past 50-year-old James Addlespurger.

Yes, this is certainly a Knockout Game attack. The investigating police must have recognized that too.
The police have a duty to call it as such, and the media has a duty to report it as such. They can avoid mentioning race if they must, but the public must be made aware that the Knockout Game exists.

Seems rational to avoid certain types if they have a habit of brutally attacking people minding their own business walking in broad daylight.
I agree with you. Funny the first few hundred times maybe. I believe “Bush’s fault”, is going away after 10 years or so but someone is certain to reply to my reply with, “Bushes fault”.

Where does this “not identified because the perp is a juvenile” stuff comes from? Why not publically identify them if they’re under 18?
