Teen arrested in sucker-punching of Pa. teacher

PITTSBURGH (AP) -- A teenager who sucker punched a schoolteacher in a downtown alley - an attack caught on surveillance video - apparently picked the victim at random, police and school officials said.

The attack happened last Thursday at about 3:30 p.m. The surveillance video, which Pittsburgh police used to make an arrest Tuesday, shows the 15-year-old suspect walking with several other youths past 50-year-old James Addlespurger.

It’s Pennsylvania, so it must be one of those violent Amish teens on a rumspringen.

These random attacks perpetrated by "Amish" youths are spreading.

We recently had an incident where a city bus rider punched out the "non-Amish" driver for no apparent reason as the perp was exiting the bus. Fortunately, the bus had cameras on it, and his face was clearly shown. The slimeball has been arrested.

Another incident not too long ago involved a bunch of "Amish" youth in a car who shot (and killed) a 60 year old "non-Amish" man who was jogging. They're still trying to track down those murderers.

The “non-Amish” guy was white, wasn’t he? What more reason did the kid need?
What more incentive did he need other than the implication from the president and the chief law enforcement officer of the nation that he’d get away with it because of his skin melanin content?

The suspect needs to attend a different sort of "school", but probably never will.

I'm sure you realize it already, but if you do that, just be fully prepared to strike decisively and disappear quickly, because law enforcement will be seeking you out with all the means at their disposal.

"We don't know the mind state that that young man was in, but there's something very terrifying about it," said Pittsburgh Councilman R. Daniel Lavelle, whose district includes downtown. "In the video it appears he was laughing afterwards, which is very disturbing."

Not sure what the details of this case are, but I'm pretty sure you'd have a definite opinion of what the motive is, Mr Councilman, if the attacker were white and the victim black.
