It’s a good ad that they ought to run over and over, especially in Ohio and PA.

I agree...

The first 8 seconds are devastating.

Romney says (looking at Obama like a student) “Under the president’s policies middle income Americans are buried... They’re just being crushed.”

And in the split screen is the little kid Obama shaking his head in shame.

Great ad!

Yes, great ad!

And that's saying something. A lot of Romney's ads have been not great, have been basically mediocre, even sometimes bordering on counterproductive. But this ad is pretty much all great, for the entire 30 seconds. This is right up there with their August reverse Mediscare ad correctly pointing out that Obamacare will cut 716 billion $ out of Medicare. That ad should have been run... nationally!

RUN THE AD NATIONALLY.

Yes, nationally. Why go national? Because pinpointed swing state ads are going to be overwritten by the national mood; instead, use your ads to affect the national mood.

An analogy: lets say you have a deep plate with some water in it, representing the U.S., and using a swirled paper towel as ads, if you pinpoint spots on the plate, you soak up some water at those spots (swing states), but the national mood (the entire plate) will just move to even it up. Run ads nationally! And next stop, go after Obamacare!
