A mother that is in horrible grief and it is very hard to believe that it COULD have been avoided. THAT would drive me nuts.

So, in her grief, it may be easier to accept it just was going to happen no matter what.

See my post no 22.

In grief, it may be easier to accept that it couldn’t have been prevented..than to live with the knowledge that it COULD have been prevented. There is a lot of “guilt” in grief, even if you had nothing to do with it...and to point the guilt at the Administration just raises those feelings within her.

Also there is a lot of anger in grief, and she may not yet be able to handle the rage if she “realizes” it could have perhpas been prevented.
I will not place any judgment on this mother..I only have sympathy for her.

Great, now we are going to have to deal with Cindy Sheehan v.2.0

Looks like she is deluded by Obama and is in fact a far left liberal still drinking the Kool Aid!

They finally found someone to tell Romney to stop. The wife is fine with it and stated that her husband wanted a new president. Since the wife wouldn’t cooperate, they went for mom.

IIRC, the TV station in this article is affiliated with one of the Miami stations. Looks like the pro-Obama media is pulling out all the stops for their man. I bet this is all over Florida media tonight.

“give the woman a break I say. she is in grief and to hear her son’s name over and over in this situation is probably very painful. She is dealing with her grief the best way she can. I don’t think I could even function with what she has had to endure.”

Bump.

Yep, a woman who cares more about her support for Obama than for honoring her son. A son whose story we ONLY know because Romney told it.

If saw correctly on CNN and read on yahoo, the wife is supportive of Romney. Further the mother said that barry obamas admin is lyin and stonewalling. Reuters forgot to mention that or I may be wrong on the people

As the parent of a daughter who was killed in a tragic automobile accident, it would appear that I look at the situation from a different perspective.

The morning after the funeral I went outside. Everyone was going to work and school and getting on with their day and life. No one around me seemed to care that someone I considered to be one of the most important people in the world was gone and would no longer be part of anyone’s life except in their memory.

If I were in this mother’s shoes, I would want his story shouted from the rooftops and I would be on every TV stations and in Obama and Hillary’s face 24/7.

Hell hath no fury like mine whose child was needlessly taken from her.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can tell you that just a couple of weeks ago I was at an uncle funeral and I thought EXACTLY the same thing: All of the world was just going on with their lives, and here we were....

I can only imagine what this woman is going through. And if the person “using” (her perspective, not mine) her child’s story to forward his campaign is someone I don’t agree with...that would make me angry.

Of course, that is just my opinion. Your perspective is more valid than mine.

God bless!

she had no problem with obama plugging in TOTUS and giving a presser at the airport hangar with the open hearses and caskets behind him

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I don’t know whether my perspective is more valid or not. I do know that she has an issue that allows access to a huge bully pulpit right now and if I were she, I would certainly take advantage of it. She cannot do anything more for her child but she can cause enough light to be shone on the situation so that someone else does not lose their son or daughter from such an incident.

Would I want Romney to be discussing it during the campaign? Yes - but I believe Obama, Panetta, Hillary, Rice and many others are responsible for decisions they allowed to be made which resulted in the death of these fine people and must be held accountable. The door is open for all the mothers and wives of these innocent people to do just that but it obviously has to be their decision.

I know that my mother never recovered fully from the death of my brother on Okinawa in WWII. When I went home right after and on furlough before being shipped to the Pacific I could see a frail mother numbed by the tragedy. My mother told me about the kind officer who told about condolences from the POTUSA. He gave her a folded flag and a window display. I can remember the anguish in her eyes because I was going overseas.Fortunately I came back but my mother was still walking around with memories of my brother. There is nothing in God’s creation greater than a mother’s love for the child that was of her flesh.
