Fine. We'll cut the amount your city contributes on the understanding that the military will not respond in any fashion to your needs or defense.

As if Govt. is a parent.
Get a clue, St. P. Govt. is in business to provide what?
Defense and infrastructure.
What else?

A proper response by Romney once inaugurated would be simply to close all federal offices and installations, all defense spending, and all military assets in the St. Paul area.
See what the residents of The Land of the Frostbitten Brain think about that.

I would disagree, the problem is that there are too many lefties running the town, the people of St Paul have been huge supporters of the military, Mancini’s steak house sent a ton of steaks to Iraq, Cossetta’s and many other businesses are always doing something to support our boys and girls in harms way. I would say that St Paul is generally conservative people that have gotten addicted to the welfare state.
I would rather the title be, St Paul MN says cut military, spend less.
