Liberals are more pleased with moderator Martha Raddatz than conservatives are disappointed. And it's easy to see why. Raddatz allowed Joe Biden to interrupt Paul Ryan repeatedly during the Vice Presidential debate, and interrupted Ryan herself, while posing questions that were radically in favor of the Obama team. Ryan overcame Raddatz's bias and won the debate regardless, leaving less for conservatives to complain about. Still, it is worth noting the facts. While the candidates' speaking time was roughly equal--not counting crosstalk, Biden spoke for 38:25 and Ryan 37:27--Raddatz’s questions were not in any way a measure of equality. She hit the Republican no fewer than nine times with pointed questions that were either an attack on Romney/Ryan or a way to set up excuses for Obama. The one time Raddatz confronted Biden, it was to ask him to elaborate on what he meant by "a bunch of stuff" in attacking Ryan's honesty--setting Biden up to elaborate. That sole question is cited by Huffington Post as evidence of Raddatz's even-handedness. Here are Raddatz's attacks:

How much time was Biden given vs how much for Ryan. I noticed when Ryan was making his point, she interrupts and says ‘lets move on’ ... biased?
she did OK till the half way point and then turned into a rabid left wing atack dog.
Even my wife was shouting at the TV and saying “will you follow up on Biden and let Ryan finish his point”

Note her positively INCESTUOUS relationships with the obama administration, and with obama himself!!!!
Note especially the following:

However, she had her former husband have a chid together. So to say “they’re divorced so have nothing to do with each other” can’t be right.
She could have had a Tourettes outburst and the only thing anyone would have noticed was Biden smirking.
And what was it the Biden said? Facts matter. Facts mean something.
The net effect was to make Ryan look even better and Biden look even worse. That is why conservatives aren’t complaining terribly.
Allowing Biden to constantly interrupt and interrupting herself just pointed up how cool Ryan is under pressure.
Hadn’t known she was also married to and has a child with Ben Bradlee Jr. Gal sure gets around. Now on #3, who she married within the same year she was divorced from Genachowski.
Ryan looked like a wise and patient teacher explaining things to two mentally challenged individuals, despite their outbursts, interruptions, smirking, and other inappropriate behavior.
Any time a moderator lets one person continually interrupt while the other is speaking, it disrupts the train of thought and the continuity of the response.
Were they counting Ryan’s time as running while Biden was interrupting him and making comments.
It is inherently unfair, even it the time for each winds up about equal
exactly. The way she introduced the abortion question showed she was a card carrying liberal FEMBOT for baby killing that rationalizes it as some sacred deceptive word called, ‘CHOICE,’ and worships at ‘CHOICE’’s altar as a fanatic. It was disgusting. I was sad this lack of objectivity and fairness was not mentioned more in the post debate discussion. Sad state of the media for sure.
I would love to hear Dick Morris' opinion on this very topic/suspicion (as IIRC he described just such goings on during the Clinton admin).

A legitimate, responsible,person/journalist even though liberal (I know that’s a stretch) who has been chosen to be a moderator in such an important venue, would go out of their way to appear fair, honest and equal. They would do it so well, that no one could question their integrity, they would be beyond reproach. Well, that didn’t happen, so I think we know why she was chosen, and she performed her duties impeccably, not giving a damn about a professional reputation.
Nobody expected anything different from this leftist piece of garbage.
He suggests that Bite-Me acted like a lunatic to Paul Ryan on purpose, interrupting him 92 times because he HAD to keep Ryan OFF MESSAGE. He and the dems, including Axelgrease - that nice boy from Chicago - KNEW that Ryan would wipe the floor with Bite Me. So in effect, Bite Me was just portrayed as the more than annoying, obnoxious VP and it backfired. Also, the assistance that Rat-biased Radizz gave old Bite Me was astounding. Hence the NASTY question to Ryan about those military guys urinating on corpses - YEP - Obama THIS one IS Corpses. haw.

From what I can tell every source is ridiculing the whole debate. Obamagabe lost again.
Those two - Raddatz and Biden - doing an imitation of a street gang roughing up one person - did their best to rattle Ryan.
Even Time Magazine was in on the scam - they had a photo spread ready - showing Ryan being the 'tough guy'... guess Ryan was suppose to be pushed to the point of getting angry. They were ready for that - guess they were tipped off..
Ryan kept his cool - how I'll never know...
Ryan showed us - once again - what jerks democrats and their butt kissers in the MSM really are. Raddatz hasn't done herself any favors... Then again, she works for ABC ... what else could we expect...
