Andrew Breitbart, who died last March at just 43 years of age, was the hardest-hitting conservative activist of the Obama era. If you share his conviction that the leftist-dominated media is a threat to open political debate, you will want to see Hating Breitbart, which was screened recently in Washington. The film offers an affectionate look at the activist's political battles and outsized personality, but it also captures the rage he inspired in his adversaries -- partly due to his flamboyant, combative style, but mostly because he wouldn't play by their rules.

Patriots in DC area, LA, Texas and St. Louis have a chance to go to the opening there this weekend!

The film opens this weekend 10/19/12 in DC, LA, Texas, and St. Louis. As most of you know, the success of the opening weekend is crucial to a national roll-out. Andrew Breitbart’s story needs to be seen by as many people as possible. As Andrew put it, “The media is the wall we have to climb over in order for our voices to be heard. Once our voices are heard, then democracy can happen.”
Like Andrew, we don't have any major media outlets at our disposal, this is a grassroots effort, so anything you can do in the next 24 hours to get this information out and help us get people into the theaters is hugely important.
The buzz is great so far, now we need your help with the momentum!
Thank you all for your kind offers to circulate this information — family, friends, Facebook pages, lists, activists, Twitter, Tea Party groups...Let's pack these theaters! Let's fight on for Andrew who never stopped working to bring out the TRUTH!
Thanks so much for your help!
Thank you for the mention.
I hope there is a lot of interest for this.
Thank you for the ping.
"Andrew is at rest, yet the happy warrior lives on in each of us."
Thanks for the ping seekthetruth!
Thank you for this post sir!
His loss will be felt for a long time. But the Breitbart website carries on.
Pinging Texans to post #21 for those in the areas that will be showing this film and want to help support the story about Andrew Breitbart.
LUV W, seekthetruth,
Thanks to both of you for the pings.
I posted a link on the TX state board.
Had friends who were at the premier in DC and it is a wonderful tribute to Andrew that everyone should see! I can't wait to be able to see it myself. Hoping it opens down here in Florida real soon!
Pinging Missouri Freepers in hopes many can see the movie this weekend in St. Louis! See the link at post #21.
West Plano, for those in the Metroplex. (Next door to the Cinemark corporate headquarters. So turnout WILL get noticed.)
Thanks for the ping. Breitbart set the bar for the rest of us to reach for. He left us way way too soon. Young conservatives are really inspired by his energy and tenacity to get at the truth. That will be his legacy.
Thanks.
I’ll post that info on the state board. Hope lots of FReepers see this film, and “2016” as well.
I can’t go. I will see it one day. I truly loved him and that was the saddest I’ve been about the death of a public figure in my life. I admired him so much. My iPad still is engraved “I am Breitbart.”
The best way to make sense of his being taken early is to be him. He would have wanted that. I’ll never measure up but his example gives me courage to be bolder.
And the fact that he was beet red. And the fact that his people said natural causes way too soon. Me too, I remain suspicious.
Thanks for the heads up. Will be watching if it shows closer.
When was he beet red? At the dinner or when he died??
You are not the only one who thinks that.
