President Obama to Appear on Jon Stewart's Daily Show Next Thursday
NewsBusters.org ^ | October 12, 2012 | Noel Sheppard

He's sat down with David Letterman and the ladies of The View.

Now according to a press release from Comedy Central, the President of the United States is going to take time out of his busy schedule to chat with Jon Stewart of the Daily Show next Thursday:

President Barack Obama will make his sixth appearance as a guest on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Thursday, October 18 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, his second since taking office as President of the United States of America. President Obama's last appearance on "The Daily Show" was on October 27, 2010 when the Emmy® and Peabody® Award-winning series taped a week of shows in Washington, D.C. He has also appeared on October 29, 2008, April 21, 2008, August 22, 2007 and November 7, 2005.

I'm sure the President - who hasn't done a press conference since June! - will face tough questions from Stewart about the White House's multiple stories concerning the murder of four Americans at our consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Don't hold your breath.

Glad there’s no other pressing issues that need his attention.

I don’t like Barry Soetoro, I never have. I just don’t like Marxist piggies. However, everytime the commie jackass stars on one of these TV shows for the braindead, it pisses me off just a little bit more. The ‘RATS whine that we need to “respect” the office of the president. I can’t do that when the ***holes are showing up on Leno, Letterman, The View and all of the other cowpies scattered across the vast, empty TV wasteland.

Give it up, Obama. The college kids still living at home with their parents because of your policies will not show up in the numbers that you need.

Obamugabe trolling for “low information voters” ...mostly stoners, pot head students and pot head former students who graduated but have moved back home (no jobs out there)

The definition of dope smoking retard is getting your newsfeed from “Daily Show” and Colbert (who is the furthest thing from funny)

The number ONE news source for males under 35 is THE DAILY SHOW...
A FAKE news show.

That in itself should show you just how far down we have slid, as a nation.

Colbert must be pissed.

But as long as we are doing interviews with serious journalists, how about Kimmel. Or Conan. Or Ferguson. Or maybe Chelsea Handler.

The timing is interesting.

Two days after the second debate going on a show that plays entirely to your base.

I have a strong suspicion that Zero much prefers the prospect of appearing on Comedy Central than he does of facing audience questions, some of which undoubtedly will be on Libya, at the “town hall” debate.

Is this some insurance in case debate #2 is a flop too?

What is next?

Obama going to go on Bill Mahr’s show?

It’s good he’s wasting his time going on shows where all the viewers are already in his camp. Meanwhile, Romney is attracting huge crowds in former democrat leaning districts.

I wouldn't be shocked. What I'd really like to see him go up against Gutfeld but on Redeye, not on The Five (though that would be fun, too.

Stewart should call it a security briefing. That’s the only way to get Obama to go to one.

Bill clinton started this business of a President appearing on talk and comedy shows. He did very well by it, and I guess the left wing base now pretty much takes it for granted when a President dishonors the office in this way.

Of course, part of the problem is that news shows and comedy shows are pretty much indistinguishable these days, when it comes to presenting any actual facts to the viewers.

He's going to go on Jon Stewart's Daily Show next Thursday and tell the audience of twenty-somethings how he WAS going to kick Romney's ass in the debate and come up with a whole bunch of reasons in a friendly forum about why he should be re-elected. Grinnin' and squintin' and being all charming and crap sitting in a big soft chair next to the adoring host. Getting jokesy softball questions from Stewart, and ending with few moments where he can act very serious about helping the American people.

Then the little cable teevee entertainment show is over and he has to go back to his real job where he becomes a confused hapless do-nothing fraud of a President.

Yeah, President Obama. We've already seen this a million times.

Sadly, one of my coworker sheepishly admitted that he gets his news form the Daily Show. He just moved here from California and actually wants to go back there. But, he is not a complete lost cause. I did convince him that the 2nd Amendment was a good thing. BTW, he is not voting in this election.... I suspect others like him, former Obama voters, will do the same.

Men's Health magazine hasn't been worth a crap since Gutfeld left - and that was a long time ago.

I recently got sent a free copy(no kidding) and after a quick look I wanted my money back.

Stewart might not be nice. Since Obama is a goner, there is no need to kiss ass

I think that I'm going to send an email to John Stewart, in order to "educate" him on financial issues he showed he didn't understand in his "debate" with BoR the other night. Stewart showed he doesn't understand the difference between a deficit and the debt, doesn't understand the current, on budget debt vs and the total debt of the USA, and finally the lies perpatrated on the American public by BOTH parties, like claiming "projected savings" or a projected "balanced budget" 10 years down the road, when no congress can possibly make commitments for more than 2 years.

While he's a comedian, I think that Stewart might be a lot more honest than BoR and certainly far more honest than that lying POTUS (I almost just used 3 of those letters).
