The scale and speed of cyber attacks is escalating and companies face more risk than ever before. Armed with technology that can help attribute attacks, the United States now has the capacity to locate attackers and hold them responsible, said U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, Thursday night, in his first policy speech on cybersecurity. The Department of Defense is also updating its rules of engagement and procedures that guide a potential military response to a cyber attack.
Senior defense officials say a sophisticated virus attack against Saudi Arabian state oil company ARAMCO in August is an example of this escalation. “All told, the Shamoon virus was probably the most destructive attack that the private sector has seen to date,” said Leon Panetta, U.S. Secretary of Defense in his first policy speech on cybersecurity. Secretary Panetta spoke Thursday night at a Business Executives for National Security dinner.

Someone the other day described what’s happening perfectly; they said it’s like being in a car wreck you are driving along you see a car coming at you he’s not stopping for the red light there’s no place for you to go you know for sure he is going to hit you and then everything slows down like a scene from some action movie the car coming seems to be crawling you can even see the surprise on the other drivers face. When he hits you the flying glass seems to hang in the air for a second and all the time there ain’t a damn thing you can do, but pray you survive.

As far as the election either way it goes I believe we will soon see social unrest, the closer the election gets the more things will become like walking a mine field and a miss step and things can and will exploded.
Despite the CDC’s tongue and cheek presentation for National Preparedness Month, there really are Zombies, just not the kind from George A. Romero films. They have been fed from the Government’s stash and walked among us for years now and many have been caught on film, but it was in a movie it was for real:

These and many more like events show (Flash Mobs, OWS, etc) that we have a large entitlement minded population that is violent prone. I think that during a collapse you will see many small businesses wiped out by flash mob looting, and once started it will quickly spread to rape, robbery and murder for murder sake. You will see what I call ‘pocket pogroms’ and if you ain’t ‘Amish’ you better not be around when they come.

Many of these ‘zombies’ will think no more about killing you to get ‘stuff’ than zombies in the lastest horror flick and do it just as gruesomely as any of the worse scenes in those same movies.
Many of you who have read my post know I often refer to this quote from Star Trek Deep Space Nine: “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Siege of AR-558 (#7.8)” (1998)

It has repeated been shown throughout history that this is what happens to people once placed under such stressful conditions and yet you would be surprised how many people don’t realize the transformations that can take place under such conditions. And because of their ignorance many won’t even live long learn.

For those of you who haven’t started already it’s time to prepare almost past time maybe. You needed to be stocking up on food guns, ammo, basic household supplies like soap, papergoods, cleaning supplies, good sturdy clothes including extra socks, underwear and extra shoes and boots, a extra couple changes of oil and filters for your car, tools, things you buy everyday start buying two and put one up.
As the LDS say “When the emergency is upon us the time for preparedness has past.”

Sounds like someone in the government wants full control of the internet, and a uniquie identifier everyone must use to access it. The fist tightens on the American throat.
Well, lets see if this dire threat can knock Libya off the talking head shows on Sunday? I’m thinking probably not.
The media tends to care a bit about our ambassadors and staff. The foreign service is viewed as a noble service. Lets see if Obama can get a away with yanking the protective services of our Libyan ambassador, and refusing to keep them alive?
Reports were live when the ambassador went down. Obama did nothing. We’ll see how that plays out. Mr. popularity is in dire straights if I read this correctly.

A cyber attack that left tens of millions of EBT cards and other forms of govt assistance flashing “ERROR” could trigger this outcome.

No question; if 'they' win; there will be violence. . .a 'celebratory' claiming of 'goods and territory' as 'their own'. If 'we' win; there will be same; only they will not be 'celebrating' and anyone 'White'; had better not be around - and perhaps, for a long time.
The more it looks like Obama could lose; the greater the threat posed. One only has to 'hear' the violent imagery that now passes as Democrat 'rhetoric'; and so it is; the nasty 'buck'; is first passed by Obama, Inc. There is a 'grooming' going on. . .
That said; America's 'hope' rests with a 'Mitt win' - whatever the cost. Karl Marx must not prevail!

With a government willing to use scare tactics such as this, there is all the more reason to prep
Leon Trotsky Panetta is nothing but Bam’s kommisar. They are using the threat of crazies over there to create a police state right here.
Cyber attacks? Who gives a damn if there are cyber attacks to Dept’s of Defense, Justice and State? With all the infiltrated Chinese and muslims, all they need is their offices’ Xerox machines, and they can steal anything.
That no one, rich or poor, free or bond shall buy or sell save he that hath the unique identifier...
Why not just retrofit some non-digital backup on utilities and train teams of people to come run the plants in the event of a cyber attack so they couldn’t be completely down for too long? Is that impossible? How did they work before computers?
My question is— if there is some massive event, what will happen to/with the army? Will they all just go AWOL and start looting? Or will we just have martial law?
Can you do anything without a social security number?
