No Joe-mentum
Breitbart ^ | Oct. 12, 2012 | David Bossie

Coming out of Thursday’s one and only Vice Presidential debate, the one thing that remains perfectly clear is that Joe Biden did nothing to stop the Romney-Ryan momentum. “The Big Mo” for the Republican ticket began with a bang almost 10 days ago due to the excellent performance delivered by Governor Romney at the first debate.

At points Thursday night, a split screen was featured to show close-ups of both candidates at the same time, and the contrast could not have been more dramatic. In the left screen we saw the past. We saw an arrogant, liberal machine politician way past his prime, who is bankrupt of new ideas and in complete denial of the Obama-Biden Administration’s failures across the board.

In the right screen we saw the future. We saw an optimistic and serious 42-year old from the Midwest equipped with innovative plans to get America working again and to deal with our pending debt crisis.

On the left we saw a man too scarred by the divisive battles of Vietnam, Roe v. Wade, and class warfare to work with the other party for the good of the country. On the right we saw a man with the courage to work with those across the aisle to put politically tough reforms on the table aimed at giving future generations the same opportunities he had growing up.

The man on the left attacked and offered the failed status quo; the man on the right offered solutions and a way forward. The man on the left belittled; the man on the right stood firm.

Even though the liberal media is trying to spin it as a great victory that did stop momentum. Another media lie.

My take...

All Biden had to offer the other night were misdirections, deflections, and catch-phrases. The Dems love catch-phrases and metaphors because that's all they have. So let's in turn use a metaphor that's pretty close to reality...

The ship of state has struck an iceberg but appears to still be afloat and moving. Captain Obama and Co. are totally unprepared to answer for what they have done and do not articulate any remedy for their actions because they have no remedy. Obama and Co. ARE the problem. They have no plan to repair the damage and have absolutely no plan to change course. It's full speed ahead in the midst of an ever-growing ice field. They believe the ONLY COURSE is to replace wealth-creating capitalism with poverty-creating socialism.

When called into question or debate, socialists have difficulty with the substance of ideas and reality. The best they can do is sling metaphors or catch-phrases ("we're in this together") around and hope something sticks. Their best effort is to distract from reality like a dog and pony show on the deck of the sinking (or limping) Titanic and maybe pretend to "help" by rearranging the chairs (in this case handing out Obama phones).

Romney and Ryan need to ignore the Dems flashy distractions (except cursory mention of their purpose to distract) and continue spotlighting Obama's ruinous acts to date and Obama's desire to continue so he can "finish what [he] started" (sink the ship, so he can get reassigned to a command post in the New World (Socialist) Order ).

The rats may get a little bump from their base from, Bidens antics but the veep debate never makes any discernable difference in the final election. The first presidential debate , in contrast, changed the way America will see their empty chair in the White House forever. Once popped the bubble can never be unpopped.

Following along with your metaphor, if Bidet had played a close, tight conservative game during the debate the ship of fools would have done immeasurably better than calling attention to himself by virtue of his antics. In that sense huge chunks of the superstructure were torn away leaving the ship even more fragile and vulnerable than before.

But then Bidet wouldn't have been Bidet - always the fool.

The man on the left did not debate, he was a clown from Comedy Central. He only showed what the d’RAT party was all about, just jerks, liers, and clowns. The man on the right was concerned about what these clowns are doing to this country, and wanted to offer solutions. The one and most important thing we learned from this ‘debate?’ is, -do we want these clowns to continue destroying this country or do we want good honest leadership to lead this country out of it’s degradation, degeneration and curruption?

Who do you trust? The grizzled mean dog or the boy scout?

Butt-in put himself in the league of Harry Reid for arrogant cynicism.

Only the stupid, crass and banal morons would get a bump lift out of Biden’s debate performance. Mission accomplished Low-Joe.

Biden is off the debate stage but his maniacal smile still lingers in many minds. Very good for R/R; very bad for Barry/Joe.

Those blinding veneers. Isn’t the dentist supposed to make one or two teeth just a little crooked for purposes of deception?

Maybe they were dentures. And oh, the joy if they had come loose while Bite Me was lecturing.

I'm even more interested what they will be like post-debate. Biden gave team Romney a lot of ammo.

I’m hoping for gains after VP and even more gains after next Pres. Hope is messes with his head some more and he has another terrible debate performance. Without his prompter he is nothing.

I hope you are right. This is the first time the people saw the real Obama and real Romney not the ones the media had created. if only they'd see the real reality not the media created reality we live in.

The first presidential debate , in contrast, changed the way America will see their empty chair in the White House forever. Once popped the bubble can never be unpopped.

This strategic move by Romney-Ryan indicates that they believe their conservative base is primed and ready to turn out in record numbers to retire Obama and Biden, and that it’s time to find open-minded independents and Reagan Democrats ready for an economic turnaround. Romney needs to immediately expand his strategy to focus on rallying Senate candidates. Now is the time to roll out the coattails.

I was reviewing the last month's Rasmussen Senate polls, and it is a disaster. The entire GOP Senate campaign has totally collapsed.

I will be putting out a complete analysis later this weekend, but we're in worst-case scenario now and need an immediate turnaround strategy, or Romney will NOT have a united Congress to support him.

Since I HAVE to pay Obama, I’d rather pay him to STAY out on the golf course until he’s summarily escorted out of the WH.
