Bruce Springsteen, whose music has been the soundtrack for President Obama’s campaign rallies, will join former President Bill Clinton at a pro-Obama event in the battleground state of Ohio next Thursday.
“Bruce Springsteen’s values echo what the President and Vice President stand for: hard work, fairness, integrity,” said Jim Messina, Obama’s campaign manager, in a statement Saturday morning about the Oct. 18 event in Parma, Ohio.
“His appearances will help with our get out the vote effort in these critical swing states and we are thrilled with his ongoing support,” Messina said ahead of the appearance in a state where polls show a tight race.

Are voters in Ohio so shallow that they would vote for someone just because a “so-called” celebrity tells them to? Do they not have the ability to make their own decisions?
That pretty well covers it for me. I’ve never liked his work, and now he’s an airhead on the political stage as well.
I always found it funny how he tied himself to the region so folks would identify him and buy his garbage.

Because with the Clintons and Obama..its mutual blackmail going on..the Clintons have the goods on Obama(The REAL birth certificate, college admissions papers, etc) and Obama has the goods on the Clintons(Vince Foster)

Didn't he have a band that played in a biker bar in Asbury Park back in the 1970s? I think he made two or three decent albums back then.

Honestly, hell for me would include having to listen to Springsteen ‘music’. That pseudo blue collar crap makes me ill. He’s about as blue collar as Thurston Howell.

Never worked a real ‘blue collar’ job in his life.
Hung around Asbury Park, drunk and stoned.
Slept and ate at friends’ houses because he had no money of his own.
His dad was not some ‘poor, down trodden factory worker’ as portrayed in his songs.
He was a happy bus driver.
He evaded the draft by showing up wearing makeup and a dress...and bragged about it in Rolling Stone back in the early 80s.
He cheated on his wife.
His “image” is a bald faced lie.
