A report says investigators are looking into Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr.'s finances. The Sun-Times reports federal authorities are investigating alleged suspicious activity surrounding the congressman's U.S. House finances.

A spokesman for Jackson says he's unaware of any investigation.

Jackson recently returned to Washington after a stay at the Mayo Clinic, where he received treatment for a bipolar disorder.

The FBI will neither confirm nor deny that an investigation is under way.

Easily re-elected next month. No worries. Dim voters just cannot help themselves.

He’ll get the same kind of scrutiny and suffer the same repercussions as Charles Rangel and Al Sharpton

I believe Jackson's spokesman is probably right about him being unaware of an investigation, he sounds like he's unaware of everything going on around him.

JJ Jr needn’t worry. In order to prevent any unsettling info about the sale of Osama’s Senate seat being revealed in court,Jr will be getting a Presidential pardon on the morning of 1/21/2013.

Wrong...this is the classic ploy of a pol who knows there's trouble brewing. He developed "bipolar" on the advice of his criminal defense lawyer.

Just like Maxine Waters this will be swept right under the rug.

In some districts...and states...the 47% is more like 60%

Well I don't buy the “bipolar” disorder, I do buy a full blown drug problem.

You're far more trusting than am I.The only thing I'll buy is "impending criminal indictment".

Trusting? I don't think we're communicating very well. I don't view that as an excuse and completely agree with you on a criminal indictment.

If we had a *real* Attorney General we'd see Jr be offered a deal in which if he came *completely* clean regarding the sale of Osama's Senate seat he'd get full immunity.

But we don't so we won't.

"impending criminal indictment"

... yep...JJJr is worried sick over going to jail. I bet the feds are interviewing Blago every day..

...if Blago ever gets a HINT that he may get his sentence reduced, he'll throw JJJr just not under the bus, but under the bus in front of the back wheels...

Now we have the real reason JJJr is “indisposed”.

I talked to one of the movers who moved his stuff to D.C. when he was first elected. He said he’s the dumbest person he’d ever met in his life.
