The Florida State Board of Education passed a plan that sets goals for students in math and reading based upon their race.
On Tuesday, the board passed a revised strategic plan that says that by 2018, it wants 90 percent of Asian students, 88 percent of white students, 81 percent of Hispanics and 74 percent of black students to be reading at or above grade level. For math, the goals are 92 percent of Asian kids to be proficient, whites at 86 percent, Hispanics at 80 percent and blacks at 74 percent. It also measures by other groupings, such as poverty and disabilities, reported the Palm Beach Post.
The plan has infuriated many community activists in Palm Beach County and across the state.
“To expect less from one demographic and more from another is just a little off-base,” Juan Lopez, magnet coordinator at John F. Kennedy Middle School in Riviera Beach, told the Palm Beach Post.

I’m not sure what the definition of “grade level” is, but this plan sounds like they expect 74% to 90% of students to be above average.
Don’t have far to go till they reach the Lake Woebegon level where ALL the children are above average.
A British newspaper recently had a semi-spoof headline stating the shocking news that almost 50% of British students were performing below average.
Think about it.
Actually, they generally give them the same test, then “race norm” the results. IOW, the curve is calculated separately for each racial group. Blacks who score 90 on the “black curve” are treated equally to white who score 90 on the “white curve,” even though 90 on the black curve is only 60 on the white curve. Or whatever the results.
What about gay black people?
Okay, then that's what Florida should do. And companies who are forced to fill quotas can continue to fill up their "Human Resources" departments with the most literate blacks they can find.
Who in God’s name would want to subject himself to a black doctor or surgeon, knowing that that doctor or surgeon may have been coddled through school thanks to “affirmative action”? Who could trust any black professional for that matter? But mostly, how can brilliant black professionals who worked their asses off and earned (and deserve) everything they attained just sit back and allow their own accomplishments and credibility to be tainted by “affirmative action” policies? But you know what? For the most part, the silence of smart, educated blacks is deafening. And they still (mostly) vote Democrat. So... screw them.
Man, if I was black I think I would scream to the heavens to dump “affirmative action” in the ocean somewhere. What an insulting slap in the face “affirmative action” is to those smart, hard-working blacks who deserve respect.

Recall in the 1990s, the Clintoon administration tried to hobble black people in America by establishing “ebonics” as a valid “dialect” of English.
It is a deliberate dumbing down of a segment of society to intentionally hold them back and make them dependent on set asides, quotas, and handouts.

So, there you have it. Our government is advocating racism, promoting racism, and enforcing racism at the point of a gun (and if anyone disbelieves the last portion, watch how fast the police get involved when someone cries 'hate crime' or 'racism.'
Instead of wealth and success, we all must be poor and stupid.
That, is the Obama and Demonrat goal.
I pray that a majority of Americans who still think for themselves have finally, and painfully, figured it out.
They already do that.
