Morgan for Mitt: CNN Star Says Romney 'Might Just Save America' (Piers Morgan! WOW!!)
Breitbart's Big Hollywood ^ | October 14, 2012 | Staff

Posted on 10/14/2012 3:24:26 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Watch "America's Got Talent" judge turned CNN talker Piers Morgan and you can't help but notice how he badgers conservatives while hurling softballs at left-of-center guests.

That hardly makes him unusual in mainstream media circles.

What is unusual, though, is the column he just penned for The Daily Mail. The headline says it all, "He's one of the least principled politicians I've met. But I believe Mitt Romney might just save America."

Morgan doubles down on Romney's image as a flip-flopper, but he goes on to salute Romney as a man, father and husband and remind us the GOP presidential candidate is particularly brilliant at making broken things run again.

The main concern for Americans right now is the economy, after all. I asked Bill Clinton recently if he felt Romney was a ‘principled man’ and Clinton smiled: ‘That’s not the issue to me.’ And I suspect it’s not for most voters either. They just want to know which man, Romney or Obama, is going to revive the economy faster....

....The great messianic tidal wave of optimism Obama swept in on has been replaced by harsh reality. He promised Americans tremendous ‘hope’ and ‘change’ and, frankly, they don’t feel he’s given them much hope, or changed very much...

Yep. President Romney was elected because his challenger was worse. That should be in his bio.

I asked Bill Clinton recently if he felt Romney was a ‘principled man’ and Clinton smiled: ‘That’s not the issue to me.’

What Clinton meant to say is: I was never principled myself, so why should I judge anyone else.

The bigger question is, why would Morgan pose that question to someone like Clinton? It's like Morgan had never heard of Clinton's shenanigans, and crimes, throughout his career.

CNN’s attitude has shifted in the last week. It may be smoke and mirrors...but perhaps, just maybe, the interview with the mother of the fallen soldier in Libya may have geniunely upset them...after that is when things changed and they started actually being somewhat objective - that one reporter confronted Obama’s campaign director Stephanie Cutter over the interview...Anderson Cooper sounded disturbed after the mother told him she had been told “outright lies.”

Again, might just be smoke and mirrors...I can’t trust CNN...but maybe a faint glimmer of hope that one event caused something to click in their heads that things with this administration are not exactly geniune and not worth manipulating coverage to protect anymore. We’ll see, I guess, as time goes on.

Well, I guess you take your endorsements where you can get them.

I don’t think much of this guy, but some folks will listen to him and give it some thought.

Every little bit helps. I don’t think this is the last guy either. We’re going to be surprised at the folks who jump the Good Ship Lolly-flop in the next few weeks.

That’s another possibility...they see the writing on the walls and are wanting to curry favor so they get the “big interviews” with the new administration to help their ratings.

CNN is trying to improve its balance and with it secure greater viewership, because they are otherwise on life support.

The other ingredient is that they know they’ve been lied to over Libya, and most of the MSM doesn’t like being lied to, and will retaliate, unless they are whores like NBC.

Have no idea about Morgan’s politics. I never watch him. But to be honest, I don’t find the notion all that unsurprising that a liberal, looking over Romney’s political record in Massachusetts, might find him entirely palatable.

But I hope it has more to do with a segment of such liberals who witnessed Obama’s ‘empty suit’ debate performance, and were genuinely shaken-up about it, and are now toying with new options.

I’m sure I’d rather have Romney’s bio, no matter what it says, than yours.

Hey, from his bio, the guy's a vet, so you might want to ease off.

In our zeal to defeat Filth Obama, which I share, we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that Romney's still a RINO dirtbag. It's just that we can probably recover from 4 years of RINO dirtbaggery....which we can't from 4 more years of Filth.
