As Twitchy documented here and here, numerous Twitter users have threatened to assassinate GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney if he prevails on Election Day next month. With Election Day now just 23 days away, the Twitter Lynch Mob is publishing more death threats than ever. Here’s the latest batch, all published this weekend:

One Secret Service Agent was passed out drunk in the street last week. I guess it was okay because Obama had left town. Sheesh. Like him or not, he is still our President and needs to be protected. The Secret Service seems to have squandered a proud history of late.
Probably in interviews with the SS and don't have time to plan anything. lol

upon reading these tweets, I think most of those posting the threats need to remove a mitten to count to three...
And the sick joke is, he wasn't fired, and in fact was allowed to continue his "career".

Can the identity of the Twitterer be clearly identified and tracked absolutely back to the sender? I.E., can they clearly and with certainty identify the sender for prosecution later.

It’s ok to make movies about killing G.W. when he was pres but or ake threats to kill Mitt but you can’t hang a black manny quin from your tree or put a photo of abammy on a dart board without the secret service paying you a visit!!!
