If anyone thought that the feisty Biden debate undid the massive damage the president did to himself in the first debate, the news isn't great. Biden does seem to have reversed the speed of Obama's free-fall but not the decline itself. Romney's debate obliteration of Obama - something that, in my view, irreparably damages a sitting president - does not seem to be a bounce, but a resilient jump. It's not going away by itself. That is: not a bounce.
And if you were a low-information voter and watched the first debate with one man with energy and ideas (however deceptive) against a president who looked like he was making small talk with a bore at a cocktail party, you'd pick the challenger yourself. It turns out it wasn't the economy (it's been perking up lately) that's become the main challenge for Obama. Nor the Electoral College. Nor a motivated, radical GOP base. It turns out that the main challenge for Obama's re-election in the final stretch is Obama himself.

I love the way the liberals talk about Romney being deceptive, when it’s the president that is hiding thousands and thousands of pages of Obamacare regulations until after the election.

Obama was having a fiery death spiral, Biden was supposed to be a fire extinguisher but then when they used him they found out it was full of pepper spray.
So now Obama is in a fiery screaming death throe.

Sullivan’s definitely a candidate for suicide watch. But if he believes his own lies about Romney, he probably can talk himself into believing Obozo can still win.
It’s getting close to the point in this election season when those on the Democrat Left threaten to leave the country if Romney wins, but strangely, we haven’t heard that yet.
Perhaps it’s because they realize that Obama really could lose, and they would look as foolish as the loonies who issued such a threat in the George Bush elections. We all know it’s a false threat, unfortunately.
My JEWISH MIL thinks that Obama will be better for ISRAEL than Romney!!!! And she considers herself SMART! geesh.
But to women victims of spousal abuse, Biden’s rude laughs, snorts and sneers, his hectoring and mugging displayed Dems' in a more nefarious light.
Women who've suffered spousal abuse said they could barely watch the debate-—b/c they were unnerved by Biden’s antics. They say Biden eerily reminded them of abusive husbands. All the tactics abusive men use to brutalize and demean, to make women feel inadequate and unimportant were the tactics Biden used to beat down Ryan::
(1) not listening to their side,
(2) interrupting when they dared speak up,
(3) laughing and mugging when they tried to air their grievances,
(4) demeaning and marginalizing them for daring to disagree,
(5) asserting superority to keep them subjugated,
(6) showing contempt when they tried to defend themselves,
(7) being condescending to them and disdainful of their views.
