O'Reilly: Mitt Romney will win the election and here's why
Long Island Newsday ^ | Oct. 15, 2012 | Bill OReilly

Posted on 10/15/2012 3:26:04 AM PDT by BuckeyeGOP

I don't know about you, but my head is spinning with all the theories out there about who will win this presidential election and why.

I'm as guilty of promulgating them as anyone. Ask any political consultant for a prediction on a race -- on anything really -- and we'll take you on a trip around the world. We're worse than the commentators before an NFL game:

"I'll tell you, Steve, no lefthanded president who has lost the Methodist vote in Wisconsin has ever been re-elected in a year that ends with the number two..."

This is my firm and final theory then -- it is also my first incidentally -- on why I think Mitt Romney will be the next president of the United States...

Personally I think its because America has woke up to the creeping tide of Islamofasism Obama has introduced upon America, and they don’t like it no matter how well its spun, colored or hyped.

Love or hate O’Reilly he usually prefers to sit on the fence when it comes to making predictions.

This is NOT Fox’s Bill O’Reilly - this is- Bill O’Reilly works as a corporate and political communications consultant. He works with clients on the Republican side of the aisle.

Nope. Not having fun. I’m hopeful, but highly anxious.

I don’t plan to watch the debates and I’ve stopped listening to talk radio to maintain my sanity. I used to be a political junkie, but not with Zero in office. This feels different. It’s deadly serious this time.

"I'll tell you, Steve, no lefthanded president who has lost the Methodist vote in Wisconsin has ever been re-elected in a year that ends with the number two..."

That's funny, LOL!

"Politicians are employees of ours," the "Unforgiven" actor and director said. "And when somebody does not do the job, we got to let 'em go." I was next to the convention stage with a colleague when Eastwood said that, and the simple truth of his words was palpable. "That's the whole election," I whispered to her beneath the roar of a partisan crowd.

Remember how all the sophisticated pundits after Eastwood's convention appearance were pooh-poohing the effect of his improv skit? We'll see if Romney wins, and I don't want to jinx things, but it may just be that Eastwood has done a great service in highlighting some home truths to the American people this election cycle. I sure hope so.

Look at the crowds that are gathering for the Romney/Ryan meet-ups. Looking very good.

When Romney wins Clint Eastwood’s historical stature will skyrocket. After all the hysteria about his “empty chair” monologue it turns out he hit the nail on the head. Twenty-five years from now it will be the single most written about moment of the entire campaign.

America has woke up ...

Four years ago the word socialism was said in hushed whispers when describing American politicians or their policies. A few like Michael Savage or maybe Alex Jones freely used the word, but it was virtually absent from mainstream discourse. Now it's used routinely, almost to the point of losing its impact, to describe Uncle Bam and his policies. The cat's quite out of the bag.

I am in total agreement! I am hunkered down too. My husband stopped listening to the radio while working because it had him to upset, and with a new job, he didn’t want to be brought down. Me, on the other hand have devoured everything I can get my hands on to read. Work the Romney Campaign on off days. However, the next few weeks I need a mental break from this or I will crack up!

There may be a better catchier phrase word, God knows somebody will create a buzzword soon about combining Islam, Communism, or Marxism.

America is a mongrel nation, so Obama wants to create a new cult, making a deal that all of Americas enemies get a cut, a payoff or funding. That is all that Obama has done the last four years, pillaging America to pay off his 2008 election.

I'm not sure that the word is losing its impact, but the "cat" idiom is certainly applicable - particularly if you ascribe its origin (as I do) to the "cat o' nine tails" used to punish ill-behaved sailors. "Letting the cat out of the (leather storage) bag" foretold painful punishment - and many Americans certainly feel as though they've been flogged for four years.

The article is dated Sept. 28th...thought I had read it before. Wonder what O’Reilly would have to say after the events of the past two weeks?

In the end, America saw the real President Obama and Vice President Biden during the debates--and it wasn't pretty, to say the least.

It’s where the economy is after 4 years. The bloom is off the rose and Obama seems very anti-American.

Doesn’t work well when you want a second term.

This is NOT Fox’s Bill O’Reilly

To avoid future confusion, it would be nice if Fox's O'Reilly would change his name from "Bill O'Reilly" to "The-Man-Who-Thinks-He-Knows-Everything-At-All-Times O'Reilly."

There’s a poll to FReep if you follow the link to the article. Right now 0 is leading 49% to 41% (it’s got an undecided and a neither option).

Amazing. You just described me to a tee. I am completely exhausted, and all my energy goes into reading freerepublic. As far as I’m concerned, FR is the only source I need. I used to go to all the sites, listen to all the talk radio.. etc. but now, I’m hanging here, and the view is just fine.

...tell me about it...some times the guy is insufferable...I find my self lurching for the mute button like I do when I hear the voices of MaddowShultz and whatshisname that comes on after...he’ll probably come around when the poles tighten a little more...doesn’t want to p off 0 in case he’s somehow re elected.
