Mitt Romney holds 8 higher education degrees" bachelors, masters, 6 doctorates. What do we know about President Obama? He surrendered his law license in 2008 and all his educational transcripts are under seal so that no one can learn about who he is.
What an amazing difference between Mitt Romney and President Obama. The differences are so stark and obvious. Is it any wonder Romney crushed Obama in the debates?

He actually “retired it” in 2006 presumably because he did not want to pay the renewal fee and take the continuing education courses.

Sorry, but honorary degrees aren't worth crap. You show up at a graduation, give a speech and get an honorary degree. Would you want someone who gave a speech at a medical school graduation performing surgery on you based on his honorary medical degree? < /pet peeve mode>

Try getting a juris doctor of law look at that accomplishment; or a masters in business at the same tiime. I am willing to bet you have neither! It is amazing how the fly swatter freepers just dismiss accomplishments like this when they could not hold a candle to Romney. So predictable.

Until I see one of the other posters on this thread permit someone with an honorary degree in medicine perform cardiac surgery on their hearts, I will maintain that honorary degrees mean nothing.

How many lawyers actually give up a hard won law degree voluntarily for those reasons after all the years of college it takes to obtain one?
It's not as if the Obamas were destitute and couldn't afford the relatively small fee.

That is what I was thinking when I read this. A Harvard law degree is quite an asset. Why did they p!ss it all away like that?
