Forbes contributor, Larry Bell, released an article late last night entitled, “Pants On Fire: Obama Administration Scrambles for Cover as Benghazi Lie Explodes.”
The article, drawing on reports from CNN, reveals a picture the Obama administration is desperately trying to sweep under the rug.
President Obama’s foreign policy is an absolute disaster.
Moreover, the things the Obama administration has told the American people in the days since September 11th reveal either gross incompetence, or willful deception. Perhaps, even, a combination of the two. [Emphasis added]
For more than a week after the Benghazi attack, the Obama administration which pledged to be the most transparent administration in history, continued to maintain a ruse that the outbreak of violence was nothing more than a spur-of-the-moment protest in response to the offensive video. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton repeated the fiction, and White House press spokesman Jay Carney told us all that there was no evidence that this was a preplanned or premeditated attack.
An October 2nd CNN report disagreed. It revealed that the administration repeatedly sent out talking points that contradicted top intelligence officials and sources for the network on the details of what caused the attack. It also said that: CNN has learned tonight that the White House chose to leave out key intelligence from the attacks on Americans in Libya. There are three things U.S. intelligence has now confirmed to be true: the attacks were preplanned, terrorist attacks, and the work of Al-Qaeda- linked groups. None of these three points were in talking points distributed to congress and other government officials. U.S. intelligence knew of the al-Qaeda link within 24 hours of the attacks. And the now infamous comments by U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice that the attacks were not preplanned and not the work of terror came four days after that. This doesnt add up.
In addition to absolutely no evidence that the attack was connected to any objectionable video, information released in a letter from Representative Darrell Issa to Secretary of State Clinton shows that the situation in Libya had been deteriorating for months. It reads: Based on information provided to the committee by individuals with direct knowledge of events in Libya, the attack that claimed the ambassadors life was the latest in a long line of attacks on Western diplomats and officials in Libya in the months leading up to September 11, 2012.
This is unacceptable behavior from a sitting administration. By any objective viewing of the facts, the Obama administration has deliberately misled the American people in an attempt to shield their claims of foreign policy superiority from scrutiny in the months leading up to the election.
What’s more, as Bell points out, this is no isolated incident. The shooting at Fort Hood, the 2009 Christmas Day bomber, and the assassination attempt on the Saudi Ambassador in D.C. all have links the al-Qaeda network.
Yet this reality contradicts the narrative President Obama has been pushing about his foreign policy experience, so the acts were said to have been singular and uncoordinated incidents of violence.
Bell notes this connection.
Finally, carefully contemplate what Obama said in his speech before the Democratic National Convention: My opponent and his running mate are new to foreign policy. But from all that weve seen and heard they want to take us back to an era of blustering and blundering that cost America so deeply.
Is it possible that the past blustering and blundering he referred to is really his own, and that we might truly be ready for new foreign policy leadership after all?
The American people don’t deserve to be jerked around by the Obama administration just so it can save face.
We deserve better.
Now if the MSM would add in the foreign policy disaster of Fast and Furious gunrunning to Mexico, we could be getting somewhere.
All those voters receiving “free stuff” could care less about American lives being lost and the LIES that this administration will tell in order to cover it up. As long as they keep getting their “free stuff”, they will keep voting for whomever is giving it to them.
They,(whoever they in the administration were),were watching in real time from security cameras, drones and/or satellites.
We'll see - my guess Candy's more biased than 'we interrupt as a team' Martha Raddatz... Candy will miss questions about fast and furious and the rape, murder and lies from the White House about our Ambassador. If she does allow someone to ask about those subjects, it'll be dems asking from the point of view that works for Obama. I have no idea why we're participating in this dog and pony show.

Irony being what it is, these fools don’t realize that 99% of there free bees will not be taken away from them. It does not matter who is in office.
I would think we might see a resignation from Hillary and perhaps even Petraeus...
On December 1, 2008, Rice was nominated by President-elect Obama to be the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, a position which he also upgraded to cabinet level.Rice works directly for the WH ;
She does not work for the State Department
The Rest of the Story...
Here is the link to the website with the info below...
For six hours the entire military, intelligence, diplomatic and civil command structure of the United States government watched, in real time, as our consulate in Benghazi was under attack, while our ambassador and his hobbled security died.
That command structure did nothing. Afterward, they lied outright to cover-up their own culpability for political reasons. An intelligence failure, under the circumstances, was impossible.
State Department officials have revealed for the first time that there were no demonstrations or protests outside the Libyan Embassy last month and that the so called anti-Muslim video had nothing to do with the attack and murder of our Ambassador and other Americans. The White House is now saying it was bad intel that led them to blame the movie. We spoke with Fox News military analyst Col. David Hunt about these revelations.
SecState Clintons signature on documents ordering reduced security, no marines, unloaded weapons - and cover-up

The Congressional hearing on the Libyan attack has revealed that the State Department denied a request by American Special Forces in Libya to continue their use of a DC- 3 airplane for security operations throughout the country. Meanwhile the State Department okay-ed the funding for Chevy Volts with a charging station for the U.S. Embassy in Vienna. We spoke with Fox military analyst Col. David Hunt regarding Libya and the White Houses attempts to sanitize their accounts.
Six hours in Benghazi - live and in color. How are we not responding, when theres a live fire fight underway for six hours? Candlelight vigil outside the U.S. consulate in Benghazi gets out of hand.
We still dont know why Ambassador Stevens was in Benghazi.

Fox military analyst Col. David Hunt checked in with us again after the revelation that there were multiple listening posts which heard the cries for help from the US Embassy in Libya and none of them did anything. The State Department says they still do not know what really happened in Libya.

Why should they care? More lives get lost in a typical weekend at Freephoneland than died in Benghazi. Life is cheap there.
Abortion does not work for the RATS...its now a net loser in polls...we are a Pro-life nation (at least in the polls)
Not sure which one I like better, because, in fact... he went to bed when he heard that the attack had begun - and not into the situation room. The next day he flew to Vegas for a fundraiser.
The 3:00 a.m. comment is a reference to Hillary's anti-Obama 3:00 a.m. Advertisement.
The 3:00 p.m. version is approximately the actual time it went down...

I’d like to see Romeny “get aggressive” and just break out of the “approved” debate format and launch into a completely TIRADE against Obama on this and destroy him to pieces on the stage. He really should ...the American people deserve no less.
Candy can go to h*ll. This media cannot be allowed to call the shots!!
Never never never forget that those missiles in Libya were lost on Obama’s and Hillary’s watch.
But...Morgan Freeman told me on TV last night that Obama was almost literally the Second Coming of Christ, and that no matter how bad things seem, we can’t go back. We must move “Forward.”
Honestly, given the star power behind Obama, if Romney pulls of a win in the face of media blitz supporting his opponent, my faith in America will be restored.
We have a dead ambassador, two Navy SEALS dead, another security officer dead, the President answers this the next morning by flying to Vegas for a fundraiser. I submit that if this were a Republican president and this went down this way, you'd have reporters camped outside of Hillary's house, Rice's house and demand that the president do a full-blown press conference on what happened.
It is mind-boggling. No way in hell would I have agreed to this set-up.
Interesting! Well that pretty much confirms who sent her out on the Sunday shows to lie about the video.
